    This speech is not just for football it works for anyone in life, if you want it and it's your hearts desire then you will be determined to work hard for it and be relentless until you reach your goal. I grew up in Texas and have been a Cowboys fan all my life but was too young to go to the games in the 60's and 70's but when they won in 92 I decided to go to Superbowl 27 at the Rose bowl and it was a dream come true. I knew when I walked into the stadium Dallas was going to win the game, and we did 52-17. All Things are possible for those who believe!

    This is the difference between Coach Manny Diaz and Coach Mark Richt !! All do respect to Coach Schnelenberger (I know I spelled name wrong )) He built Hurricanes but Coach Johnson took them to another level because he knew what it took to beat the good teams and how to dominate them . He knew you had to be in the best shape as a team and your good talent you turn them loose not let go (Jeff Thomas). Coach Richt is a good man and believes in winning not dominating. Miami when Coach Johnson coached knew that if they got the game to the 4th Qt they would dominate especially in the Orange Bowl because the players trained for dominating it. Coach Diaz grew up watching this and understands what Hurricane Fans of that era was accustom to seeing.. The Hurricanes of 1982-83 a miles behind the Hurricanes of 1985-87 . The teams were both talented but after Coach Johnson got here he knew that to get Miami among the elite he had to dominate the elite and establish a true home field advantage. 4 Fingers turned into 4th qt wins and that led to domination (SWAG). TALENT PLUS CONDITIONING PLUS PREPARATION = DOMINATION. It is not enough to just win 21-17, 28-21 or 20-17 because yes it's good to get the win but are you really as good as your record ? This was Coach Mark Richt in a nut shell and why when he faced teams just as good or better you usually lost or even lose to teams less talented if they stopped his "play calling'. Coach Diaz defense got better as the game went on and was usually dominate in the 2nd half up until they were gassed . Now you know why the team went from 10-0 and dominating ND on national TV to almost losing to Virginia and then losing to Pitt and Wisconsin . Teams knew if you stopped the offense they would remain the same and you could beat the Canes in the 2nd half or if you built a lead you increased your chances when the defense got tired. Every loss other than Wisconsin the Canes only needed the offense to do there part but to no avail. This is why the entire Offensive Staff was fired. Barring any major injuries Canes win 10/11 games easy if Coach Diaz dominates and not just on defense. Blowout wins also helps you play more players who then get more experience in games and builds depth . ENOUGH SAID!!

    • @adamforman606
      @adamforman606 Před 4 lety

      He took the DEFENSE to another level by implementing the 4-3 defense.Speed , the innovator of Linebackers the size of Safeties with the speed of running backs. But, he was smart enough not to touch Scnellenberger's PRO-SET NFL offense back in the 80's. Jimmy was also better recruiter of talent overall !

    As much I can't stand the Cowboys, I can't deny Jimmy Johnson was one heck of a coach, arguably the best Dallas ever had. A shame he and Bill Walsh never got to compete against each other. I'd love to see those two legends duking it out, especially during the 1992-1993 seasons. His Cowboys vs Walsh's 49ers. The genius vs the master motivator. That would have been one heck of a match up.
    Nothing against George Seifert, but he was no Bill Walsh. Not even close. Johnson ran circles around Seifert with ease when it came to coaching.
