Emmitt's legendary shoulder games wasn't in the playoffs. It was at the end of the season for the division and home field vs the Giants.
@rollotomassi4768 That was a heavyweight bout. When Emmitt went down near the end of the 1st half the Cowboys were up 13 -0, but they were held scoreless in the 2nd half and the Giants tied it up. They had to leave one-armed Emmitt in to keep pounding the ball because the Giants' D had been giving Aikman and the receivers fits all day.
What Emmitt did on the OT drive that set up the game-winning FG was incredible. Out of the 11 plays they ran, Emmitt had 6 rushes for 19 yards and 3 catches for 24.
With a separated shoulder. And a bruised sternum.

Jerry Jones decided to keep that money in his pocket and have Micah Parsons be his savior... All the while teams are running the ball down our throats because we didn't have a LINEBACKER TO COMPLIMENT HIM AND PARSONS!!! And as far as that goes, Jerry also saw we needed a running back. But what did he do? Absolutely nothing. He just hung everything on Dak and Cee Dee Lamb and hoped for the best. Having a good running back to compliment Dak and a #2 receiver to compliment Lamb would have done wonders for this team!! Jerry knew that but refused to do a dam thing about it 🤷 I will always be a Cowboys fan but I'm done being a SUPER fan. No more going to the games... No more spending money decorating the exterior of my house during the season... No more spending money on jerseys, hats, tee shirts, etc., etc.,... No more spending money on tailgating parties... No more spending money on food and alcohol for away game get togethers at my house... No more arguing with people in public about the Cowboys... No more nothing. I'm sick of it.
