Yeah but on the other hand the cowboys have won 12 games 3 years straight so they do have a somewhat winning culture. My Chicago bears have won probably 13 of so games in that same time span. Trust me I'd rather be in Dallas position over a lot of other franchises

75% of those 36 wins came against garbage teams and struggle against anyone even close to .500 in the regular season.
I like that DO brought up the Cowboys beating the Eagles late in the season, which was during a stretch that the Eagles lost 5 of the last 6 regular season games and also they got trounced by the Bucs in the wildcard round! lol That's not the same Eagles team that started 10-1 and even during that stretch they looked very shaky and not the same dominant team from a year prior.
As a Cowboys fan, I agree with Stephen A and Shannon, winning 12 times for three straight seasons and only getting one playoff victory out of them is not a winning culture, the goal is to win consecutively in the playoffs, not just regular season.

The other three teams from the DFW area have each won a title since the Cowboys last won a title. The Stars (1999), Mavs (2011) and Rangers (2023).

I mean Dan is technically correct. The Cowboys tend to have winning seasons, and on one level that should be respected. On the other hand, that isn't how teams get graded these days. People only have time for their team and who ever seems like they might win the championship.
In my personal (no real football experience) opinion it’s more that the Cowboys have rarely had any season with merit whatsoever since ‘95. Sure, their regular season record should be fine but they’ve literally only been able to hang division champ banners, even then the NFC East is probably the most inconsistent division. But that’s a topic for another day…
