Thankfully, there have been many changes in Milan in the last 10 years, but the city is huge in comparison to cities in the Netherlands. There is, like she says, still much more to do. In the street where I live (Via Adige) every cm is occupied by cars, on both sides. And there is not even 1 tree. Not 1. Just some shrubs in pots, placed by shop owners.

i have been cycling there for 3 full days for around 12 hours a day from suburbs to center and back and the same as berlin and rotterdam i have sen so many cars. but changes and transformation dont go overnight. i even followed a 13 year old boy biking towars highschool in the center for 20 minutes and it was unbelievable how dangerous situation can be for young adults in the city.
