American David and his bride Annie from Thailand have been living in the US for a year. Life in America hasn't been what Annie had expected - they are living in a storage unit without cooking facilities and she still has no work permit.

Between how the show portrayed him and his overall attitude I believe that he made alot of wrong decisions. But he has changed.

David genuinely loves Annie unlike Ed who clearly had no interest in a genuine relationship with Rose in spite of how much he insists he did. He wouldn't have lied to her about the things he did if he'd actually wanted to be with her in a mature long-term relationship.

These two became one of my most favorite couples from this show. Their love is so real and genuine. They’ve turned into such a wonderful team. She’s such a beautiful soul as well.
It’s shocking how now theyre one of the few couples that actually seem to love each other and are happy together. During the show I would’ve never predicted thst. Also Annie is such a catch she’s pretty and so funny. Hope he appreciates her

I don't think it's what she's feeding him, because she eats it too. I think he's eating junk elsewhere and stressing out. We know he's not exercising much.
I love Annie and she has definitely brought out the better person in David. Sometimes it just takes a special person in your life to motivate you to change.

20k and then live in a storage unit? I heard they’re better now... but she could’ve easily asked for 5k (which is still a lot) but they could’ve used 15k for their living situation. But anyway at least they’re better now.

I think it may be one of those classes where you don’t get grades and students just go to simply learn English. They would never allow a couple to have that type relationship in a graded university course
