God this show was incredible. 9:09 Keith David’s voice in this show was absolutely insane, I can’t praise it enough. The raw emotion put forth in every word is something I actually feel in my body at certain points. Matched with the gritty art style and fucking amazing dialogue, this show being cancelled all those years ago remains a huge disappointment in my life.

How many lawsuits were there? I know of the Tony twist one with that hockey player which is ridiculous and over the rights of Chapel. It’s a shame because I find Spawn and his universe to be very interesting compared to your typical cardboard superhero portrayals. Spawn and Batman are definitely my favorites.
I watched this show back in the 90s and after so many years, I'm watching it again. And man, what a blast! After almost 30 years, this show is still amazing. The voice acting, the sound track atmosphere... I can't help but wonder if we will ever be blessed again with such quality content of a Spawn series.

We need more cartoon shows of real movies that would be so tight & awesome 👌. Could y'all imagine The Wire being a cartoon show or TWD, that 70's show even tho it's a TV show or X-Files. Or cartoon show inn real life 🎬 movies.
The animation and art is very sparse, only offering the barest minimum to visualize what is going on, but the voice acting and script is extremely dense, poignant, and impactful.

Cogliostro want to help Al Simmons do the same. For Cogliostro he would consider it honorable to help another. Something he lost in life. He wants to regain his honor that he had lost as a knight. By doing the evil deeds that he did in life and as The Dark Knight Hellspawn.
The atmosphere of the show was amazing HBO needs another dark animated show
