The first question is something a lot of service businesses deal with. It’s a struggle.
Dave’s answer seemed kind of lame. Hiring extra help for part of the year is not going to yield reliable employees in your window to make the most revenue. The guy is going to have to figure out something the people can do to at least cover their pay the rest of the year.

Love Kevin‘s health business and dedication to tithing. I wish Dave had asked about why Kevin’s business isn’t currently growing. What’s going on with that?

I have a great consulting business but having a hard time bringing clients in. How do I get more prospects to talk to without the network?

Warren Buffet's Sees Candies is also seasonal and makes most of its money during the holiday season at the end of the year.
But they must produce its product all year to cover demand. VERY different from a company whose products are only purchased 7 months out of the year and they cannot pre-produce it.

Hmmm..... Unfortunately I don't agree with "you will never regret generosity". The Bible says not to throw pearls to pigs. I have given many times and then I saw that money pissed away irresponsibly, and I realized that I did not invest God's money profitably for His Kingdom.

Yeah you are right this is a subject that needs talking about, who can you trust with money? Can they handle money responsibly? If not then what do we do next?
I wrote down your question for my future videos, I'd be happy to dive a bit more into this subject after I am done with my current projects. We want to help but just giving isn't the answer. People as talked about here on the Ramsey show have certain behaviors and that is the most difficult thing to change.
I want to thank you for posting your thoughts and story, sorry that happened but even though it was a negative experience , you writing it down here helps me reflect on it and want to dive further in how to do it properly, so thank you for the honesty! : )

Not a bad idea! Any other kind of abatements and removals could be good additional services
