In tent mode, can I connect external keyboard and play pc games? And how is the performance compared to normal mode… thanks!

Yup, you can connect external keyboard and game in a tent mode, no performance restrictions.

This is my dream laptop! As a gamer, content binger and a video editor, I really don't think there is anything better out there. But I guess I won't be able to buy it for another 3 years or so, hope intel and nvidia will have nailed the battery consumption by then😅

I have the 13900h 4070 variant. Don't buy it. Looks great on paper. Impossible to due any real work on it. Mini-led blooming is terrible, and with it disabled, you might as well be using a 2003 lcd with more pixels. That's not even considering the calibration. The display looks like a yellow stain out of the box. Liquid metal application was a joke and the thermal paste was crusty on the gpu. The little rubber pads fall off and are never seen again. The entire frame is slightly bent inward, making the display look like it has "backlight bleed" even though it's a mini led panel. That's if you're lucky. If you're not lucky, the actual panel is literally popping off. The trackpad is lose and double clicks. These are all common issues everyone has been having with it. The list keeps going but that gets the idea across. Just don't buy an Asus in general. They have no respect for their customers' time or money. For $3k you can do significantly better. But Asus doesn't think it's enough for per-key lighting. Lol

@@-eternal Hmm. Are you sure you didn't buy a second hand? Either way, there is pretty much no alternative to this is there?

@@alecsbizarrememes7862 dont be put off by the comment above. I have been using mine for 1 year now and it has been great.
The screen is awesome with great contrast and bright like a supernova, I actually dim it to 60% when using it at night. The glossyness makes the colors pop ant thanks to the high brightness its one of the few glossy screens that you can use outside.
The built quality is top notch and the hinges are a lot stronger than the 2022 model but not to stiff to open with 1 hand.
      The speakers are also great.
The touchpad is smooth, acurate and click sount is pleasent.
Its also awesome that you can use it in tent mode or as a tablet.
The performance is enough to play any AAA game at 1080p with Ultra settings but I would have wished for a ULV processor instead for more battery life. The current processor is overkill if you dont play in 4k. Its also nice that you can upgrade the graphics with the XG Mobile port and use an eGPU that is actually portable. But untill now, the 4070 has been more then enough for me. Maybe when they come out with 5000 or 6000 series.
      Cons:
      - as stated in the review, the battery is bad. You cant get more than 2-3 hours of video with the brightness at max. Maybe 4 if you dimm it at 50% and turn off the wifi and bluetooth.
      - while the tablet mode ist nice to have, its really no joy to hold a 1,2 KG 16 inch tablet.

Good video and a good product choice. But what’s the price and how does it compare to alternatives? There is really no point in a review without this information.

First of all, there are very few touchscreen gaming laptops, hence why we only created a single product feature for folks looking for one.
Plus, here is the full video: studio.czcams.com/users/videoPay2hSekkx8/edit
      hope this helps.
