the original stooges were legends.. these guys nailed it legendary.. i can see no better stooges then these 3 great movie fun and funny to watch unlike most movies that try too hard and end up being dumb
Aas a lifelong Stooge fan, I can say, they nailed it. Absolutely nailed it. From the look to the characterization to the humor. Watching this movie, I actually almost felt like Moe, Larry, and Curly had come back from beyond for a curtain call.
This movie was a nice and lite adaptation of the original series in 1961-1988 with same title. We can never get the same humor from the men who gratefully served in the last World War and the anti-Afgan-Russo occupation with minor roles but were still important to military tax-advancements. R.I.P. Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Jerome "Curley" Howard.
I love how I heard the people that made the movie gave money to the families of the actual 3 stooges because it's well known how they were screwed over and barely made any money while the company that made the show made tons.

That amount was never increased up to 1958 when their contract wasn’t renewed. So even though their shorts made the studio lots of money by the end of their contract they were only making $20,000 each a year. So the people that made this movie basically acknowledged how even though the original stooges legally didn't deserve any profits from this, the movie wouldn't exist if it wasn't for what they did and so they paid their families, since they're dead, even they didn't have to. They knew it was the right thing to do.

Imagine you made your work lots of money yet for 24 years they refused to give you a raise. Would what you made day one still be a lot after all that work after over 20 years? And 3 with inflation it was probably worth more in the 30s when they started than it was worth in 50s so it's almost like they took pay cuts.

This movie is decent, if only they didn't make it as a three stooges remake instead an inspired from three stooges. When you remake an old movie, people had some expectation for it.
my favorite stooges where Curly, Larry and Moe. They where great comedy actors of their time, but very bad landing deals as studios rip them off so much they still had to perform at their elderly years to pay the bills.
I like the three actors they did a great job. The script Sucked with a capitol ‘S’. In all the Stooges shorts there were a few subjects they never used, mainly nuns and orphans. It’s like a bad version of The Blues Brothers Movie, where the boys need to raise money to save the orphanage.
Whether you love this movie or hate it, these three captured the essence of the Stooges with pure perfection
