And also- GET AN ACCOUNTANT is the best advice! When I first went out on my own that was the best advice I was ever given by my mentor. Hire an expert who can help you and teach you and who can also advocate for you when you need help. There were a surprising number of times during the pandemic that I had to seek council from my accountant. There will be curveballs, you will need an expert at some point!
Congratulations you guys! Thanks for the video! ❤️
You guys are awesome! I opened up my own loft back in August! I love it but it’s definitely not easy! And I totally agree with having a business mentor, I currently don’t have one but I listen to a lot of podcasts and listen to coaches that will help! Definitely learning along this journey!
Congratulations on your loft! Thank you so much for your feedback and for watching our video.
We watched a lot of videos and podcasts as well, but having a business mentor was a game changer for us! I hope that you're able to connect with one in your area soon 🔥
How do I find a business mentor?
Thank you for all the wonderful information, looking forward to opening my own salon suite.
That's great did you get to open it?
Great video, I am on the planning process of opening my own suite. Doing a lot of research and getting things on my todo list before I leave my current place. Thanks for the advice.
Of course, thank you for watching! Good luck with your own suite, I hope that our video helped!
That's great! Did you get to open your own salon suite?

Thanks so much, and thank you for watching our video! 🙌🏻
Did you get to open a salon suite location?
I absolutely loves watching your video. I appreciate all the info you provided. I was just curious if you provide mentoring as well or could help my partner and I to find one?
Seems like an awesome salon! Also digging the Gosling photo on the wall...just saying...
Thank you! Yes, the Gosling photo does draw in a crowd 😂
Hi. I’m planing to open my own nail suite. Could you tell me what credit card machine or brand should I use please? Thank you so much
Do you give your drinks as complimentary or do you charge? Also do you have to have liquor license?
Is there a worksheet or guideline layout that you use to make a budget for the salon ?
In our case every location is different since princing per SQ FT will vary from location to location but we personally charge 3X what we are leasing the space for. I hope this helps!
What you mean when you say you charge what your renting the space price? I’m not understanding
Is there a difference between a salon suite and a regular hair salon?
Yes the most fundamental difference is that if you are a beauty professional in a regular hair salon you are representing someone else's brand versus your own brand. Our renters love that they have their own brands and also have their own hours. It's a game changer for many beauty professionals!
