- Welcome back to another Assetto Corsa Competizione track guide, this time showcasing Japan’s Suzuka International Racing Course. If you didn’t know this place and looked at a track map, you would probably think it was a fictional circuit created by a five-year-old… But don’t be fooled! This track is very much a grown up.
Right, left, right, left, right…. As you can imagine, flow and rhythm are the most important attributes when It comes to a competitive lap of Suzuka. You will spend the first half of the lap constantly trying to set yourself up for the next corner, so being two steps ahead at all times will have a big impact on times. The second half is a bit more commitment based. How fast can take 130R? How late can you brake for the chicane? Keep your head, and results will benefit.
Here are some benchmark times to aim for:
Pro : 1:57.6
Pro/Am : 2:01.0
Am : 2:04.0
My Laptime : 1:58.1

Traxion has quickly become my go to channel for acc lap guides. Highly under rated.
Great to hear it, thanks very much🙏
Me too!
hi guy, thanks for video. I miss the brake and throttle chart or HUD
crucial
Thank you for the video. The Denger curve has been my kryptonite.
Very simple but exact track guide! Thank you.
Watching this video getting ready for LFM next week.
Good luck!
thanx bud, love yr tips!
You are very welcome, great to hear it :)
I can only do 2.08
Thanks for this guide, John! I tried this track yesterday with the Lexus, and my fastest lap time was a 2:03:620, which is more than a second faster than I was managing with the NSX.
I’ll try the Mercedes next, and see if I can gain at least another second, as I’m way off the pace 😂😂😂
Good work, specially in the 10 seconds summary which I absolutely didn’t understand! XD
Haha thanks! I really hope it helps. To be honest 2:03’s are not bad at all, just little tweaks here and there and you will be right on pace. 58’s are really only for hotlap sessions in good conditions etc. at esports level.
Best of luck 😊
@@TraxionGG to be honest I will do with a high 1:59. I would be more than pleased with that, but it’s a long way 😂
Thanks for the info and the content. Keep it up! 💪🏼👏🏼❤️
👏👏👏
Occasionally i come back to these track guides and i always find it fascinating how different the behavior of the cars is. Especially now with version 1.9.5. Think it wouldn't be a bad idea to revisit these Track Guides for the "new" system we had with version 1.9. It's mostly the same for about 80% of the tracks and the laps, but there are crucial differences between the old version of the game and the modern physics.
58.10 wow, on controller I've only been able to manage :01.2. Can't imagine where the 3 seconds are but 😅
is it possible to do the same time without abs?? I ve made somehow 2:12 without abs..I expect to do 2:6 atleast without abs.. I use mouse steering but its not really a disadvantage.. How are people doing so fast lap times😭😭😭😭
With a wheel lmaoooooooo
abs is absolutely necessary. but so is a steering wheel. Racing is all about smoothness. using mouse and keyboard kinda defeats that purpose. M&K will always give 100% output.
These guides would be better if showing the inputs
Later guides have them included, as will every guide going forward. Thanks for the feedback, hopefully you still found it useful!
Too too many corner repetitions, hard to watch. Other your track guides was good
