Feel free to skip ahead at any moment of the video to move to the next step. The tire that we'll be changing in this video is from the stock Pint tire to the brand new Craft&Ride x Burris All-Terrain Treaded Tire for Onewheel Pint™.

    What a great play by play, strictly to the point and topic, and informative way to do the tire swap. Thanks for creating the video man.

    That green stuff is Slime tire sealant, not grease, homie. Also, you don't need to disassemble the board nearly that much - remove the 2 Phillips, remove the cables, remove the main wheel bolts and it comes out. Don't need to take the rails off. Great tutorial regardless.

    Super helpful video! Got the enduro on my PintX. Took 2 mos cause one of the 4 main bolt screws was cemented and had to drill it out with carbide bit. A pain. A safety tip for setting the bead is putting tire in 5 gal bucket before inflate. Both popped in, up to 35+ psi! 😮

    Super helpful video. I couldn’t get one side to bead so I ended up taking it to a local tire shop and they beaded it in 2 secs where I spent 2 hours lol. Appreciate your video though! 🙏

    Hey great vid man im just going to say it u can do the exact same stuff offroad on a pint it just comes down to how well u can take the bumps and yes the xr does make it less wobbly i personally prefer the pint since i can maneuver it in the air way better, i think a way of saying would be like a regular mountain bike as a pint compared to a fat tire bike as an xr both can do the same terrain but it just feels different. But the range on xr is killer man.

    Is it necessary to use lock tight to screws?

      This is because he neglected to show the most important part. If you look inside the HUB (not sure why this guy kept calling it a fender) 🤦‍♂️ You'll notice two grooves, one on each side. One sides groove will be larger and deeper than the other. You'll need to shift the bottom side of the tire into that deeper groove and when you do that it gives you the extra clearance you need to pull it off. Honestly if you're not a limpwristed panzy you don't need to spend money on tiny rubber coated tire spoons and you can easily squish and twist the tire over the hub by hand. Biggest thing is making sure you utilize the groove inside the hub otherwise you're gonna fk yourself, the hub, your tools, or the tire up. If it's cold when you're trying to do it, the rubber will be more stiff and so will your hands - making it a little more difficult.
      Based on how long ago you commented I'm sure you've already gotten it solved some way but this is for anyone else who might be having the same issue or in the future if you wanna give it another go.

    Would this video be the same for changing the tire on a Pint X or are there significant differences? Thanks!

    (HELP!) Ever since I unassembled and reassembledy my Onewheel Pint. After replacing the tire. It now turns on by itself with a little tampering on the front and back sensors... or if I rock it back and forth. It turns on without the power button, after doing that.... and about the passed month It's turned off about 5 times by itself when I'm riding it. Had 2 pavement crashes, especially the 2nd one was pretty gnarly... is something possibly wrong with the wires? Like they're not fully plugged in? Or the battery's going bad now?

    • @WRATHonBVR
      @WRATHonBVR Před 2 lety +1

      Don't know if you ever got this figured out or fixed, but I suspect you bent some of the prongs of the front footpad sensor female side port. There's the 3 big ones but there's also a lot of smaller, shorter ones that are a bit harder to see without really looking. The plug will still connect and lock even with bending some of those smaller prongs. When the prongs bend, causing the connection to fail, certain aspects of the board won't function right as its missing vital information that would have been relayed through that cable/ports prongs. If this is or was the case it will 9/10 leave you to the will of FM. If you're lucky enough to live close enough to a good service shop, they might be able to save it with a new front footpad sensor.

  • @sjfk1306
    @sjfk1306 Před rokem +2

    You did twice as much work as you needed. You only need to take the front sensor off. You can leave the rear completely alone.
    10:38, take the mag handle off and the 2 Philips screws and your done…

      Thank you for saying that I’ve never replaced my tire but it seemed he took a lot more apart than he needed.
