Highlighting drills, free skiing, cute learning moments and different situational skiing. This video follows three kids showing two months of learning and development. www.skistrong.org/store/
Wow that was the fastest 9min video I have ever watched!!! So fast I watched it twice!😀 As a coach their is nothing better than Watching your kids work hard and the pure joy they find when they achieve what they’re working towards!!!
These kids are killing it hahahahaha Super impressed with the moguls / one ski skiing / slalom chase, these peeps have big skills! "That was big air!" hahahahahahaha
I've been skiing for quite a while - likely not always doing it correctly. I love your videos and always learn something - then pass it along to my daughter too! I found long ago that your kids learn more easily from someone who is not a parent - even in later years!
Thanks for all these great videos. I've been away from skiing for 20 years, but now my 9 and 11 year old kids are learning. It's much fun to see them "get it" and exciting for me to learn to do more than "just go fast", now that I have a brain (I think). Your videos are such a pleasure to watch and make me want to head up to the slopes right NOW to make a bunch of awesome turns! Thank you.
Very nice, Deb. That was a delightful moment for me. It added to my ☕ sip, before I start working...sighh..kids seem to be very talented. Very inspiring. Hugs from a small Canadian hill and please, as we head into spring, please keep posting post skiing activitivities..mtb ..and of course, whenever you have time. 🤗
Amazing! The kids are already so comfortable on skis. You do a terrific job in motivating them and exploring (and pushing!) their limits and abilities. I am currently teaching my 5 and 7yo daughters. They can do wedge turns quite well (that's what they learned in kids ski schools), and now I try to show them how to do parallel turns. They still ski without poles, but I will keep the double pole plant exercise in mind. Sidenote: some of the kids really ski effortlessly on one ski. That's remarkable. Did a one day training last season, and the instructor made me do turns on a single ski. It's so hard and uncomfortable to lean over and ski on the outside edge. Seeing the kids do it, I have new motivation to master it :)
Love this videos, cause I´m trying to see excercises for kids and I push them hard to improve their skiing. Thanks Deb for this videos, wish you can have more for exercise for kids, but I love your channel, you are my mentor, thanks indeed.
I had Deb in high esteem. That changed @9:05 (just kidding) Wow - just amazing. How do you get to be so good. Guess I have to take a clinic -- is there an adult clinic too?
These drills look good for 7, but will they work for 57? A married a Colorado girl and had no idea one day skiing would be expected, lol. I’m a complete yard sale.
Deb I have a question for you . I have a 4 yr old that is stronger on right side then left. So while in snowplough positon he turn to the left as he can’t seem to put even pressure on both skis. Do you have any kind of tip on how to correct this or is it just going to be a mileage thing to get him out of this. Your input would be much appreciated. Wish I had an email but thought I would use the CZcams sight and hope that you see it. Thanks Deb.
I would keep this child on flat, beginner terrain for lots of mileage. This child is only 4. This may take care of itself. Fun, fun, fun for the child. I would not teach a thing. Only ask the child to turn, turn, turn, follow, follow, follow. Turn for speed control. Take care
4:58 is the best! I love seeing kids learning by way of fun :)

Cross country skis are not fo down hill skiing
They are important and fantastic for challenging balance for alpine skiing. I use cross country skis often for this purpose.
