@@NivekVX Frankly there should have been a LOT more characters involved in that entire plotline, which is a big part of reasons Sentinels fell so flat as an event. Like, the army of the undead is invading every single nation and we barely get to see how it impacts anyone. I mean, how do you think J4 responded to the Black Mist invading Demacia and corrupting one of his closest friends? What were Garen and the Dauntless Vanguard doing? Where the hell is Lux, who is basically a walking Relicstone, during all the chaos? Why is Vayne the ONLY Demacian Champion we see doing anything about the situation? And that's not even addressing all the other regions that got touched by the Harrowing. In short: while I think the Darkin saga is definitely better than Rise of the Sentinels, Riot really needs to understand that you can't just have a big apocalyptic event happening and have almost no one respond to it.
The shard of hope can is a reference to the ruination and Ryze's role in that story.

Ryze is one of the best Champion Lores and Character arcs in the whole Franchise.
I actually expected there to be more lines between Aatrox and Atreus but sadly not much interactions.
We can only hope they add it in future patches，they did add more for other champions afterall
