Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to review our products.
We highly value constructive feedback from our customers as it helps us continually improve and better serve you. The point you raised about the Eiger matte box was excellent feedback, and we have already made improvements based on your input.
As for the lens cap holder, we recognize its value, especially when using a lens hood. This feedback was often received for the M1.
Once again, thank you for consistently providing us with valuable feedback. We look forward to sharing something new with you shortly.
Freewell Team
Ahhhh for taking it on and off with a lens hood isn’t something I thought of it ran into but that is a fantastic solution for!
The lens cap and the ring are amazing and the best solution out there. Stick to this design, please.
The ring on the lens cap is amazing and a game changer. I leave it the way that I can simply stick my finger through. Than rotate it so it is on the outside of my hand. Never been easier to use a lens cap, store a lens cap, not loose it and have it at hand, literally, at all times. This product is fantastic.
Great review mate, straight to the point while covering all the pros and cons and even the smallest of details! 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you!
The added it because for taking of the Filter when the lenshood is attached
Thank you very much for this review, I wonder if you could do a comparison with the Nisi swift system. ❤
Huge thanks for this video. Haven’t found much on the fixed filters like here. Curious, do you know if there’s any upgrade in glass quality from the original ones vs the new m2? Like is there any real difference at all or is it just cosmetic stuff and the new cap?
Great review. Question! Are these snug fit? I used k&f magnetic and their cap is also threaded so they left a light wiggle room which makes them feel cheap
Thanks good style of review. Do their filters fit M4/3 systems?
Absolutely, but it’s the lens front thread size you need to check, M4/3 lenses can be very small so you might need a step up ring to make it work
great review! do you think the 3 pack would suffice for most day to day shooting?
Hard to say sorry as it really depends on what and how you’re shooting.
@@ThomasBusbyPhotography ahhh totally misunderstood. bought the pack thinking it was 3 different ND filters that you could stack etc haha. womp
Thanks for the review. Do the M2 versions have threads on the front of each filter to allow you to stack a threaded filter?
no
@@andy- Thanks
Will your lens hood still fit with the filter holder and filters attached to your lens?
Case by case situation, I brought the largest size (larger than my lenses) so for me it would not
Hi Freewell folks. I am about to Buy the new M2 System. My biggest lens currently is a size 77 filter size. I also have a 72, and 67. Friends are telling me to buy size 82 and use your step up rings. they say it will prevent vignetting. what do you suggest. I worry about lens caps on my lenses when not in use. Thank you for your help, Tony
I struggle with this as well.
Step up and down filters don’t play nice with lenses caps.
And buying multi of the same filters isn’t fun.
However I went with buying a few of my favourite filters at different sizes.
I own less different filters than I could have for the same money, but I also use filter thread size as a factor when buying lenses knowing what filters I already have for them.
Because I love keeping my lens clean and using a lens cap as often as I can, and I change lenses a lot.
Thank you for your red reply. I really appreciate what you say and your honesty, really helps me make my decision. I don’t like fumbling around when trying to take the right shots
You can buy a h&y revoring attach the magnetic filters to that and it's easy to to take in and off afterwards
@@ed12888thanks I will take a look at that
Idk the ring is a good touch cuz the cap is annoying to get off
I didn’t have any issues removing it but freewell pointed out if you’re using this system with deep lens hoods (which I didn’t) the ring is great. Which I’d agree with.
Its confusing how they have different models. K2, M2 and V2. I dunno what to get
K2 is one size with adapters.
But I don't understand difference between M2 and V2...
@@memfault v2 is an hybrid filter with ND filter as the base filter of 3 stop. So you if using v2 it is lowest ND stop + CPL while for M2 it can be purely just Cpl or just ND filter
