- OLD SCHOOL OVEN STICKY SRIRACHA HONEY BBQ BABY BACK RIBS
This is a very simple way to enjoy nice and moist and flavorful ribs without dealing with the heat and humidity
It’s so quick and awesome
Recipe:
2 slabs baby back ribs
1 cup BBQ rub of your choice
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons sriracha
1/2 olive oil
1/3 cup liquid smoke sauce ( optional)
2 cups thick BBQ sauce
Season ribs with all seasoning
Add to pan and place in oven uncovered on 450 degrees
Cook for 30 minutes
Remove from oven and drains liquid from pan
Mix together BBQ sauce,honey and sriracha
Brush on BBQ sauce on ribs and place ribs back in oven covered for 30 additional minutes on 350
Remove from oven and brush with bbl sauce and cook another 10-15 minutes uncovered 400 degrees
Remove from oven and enjoy

Juicy, tender and flavorful! That's how ribs are supposed to be done. I recently ordered ribs from a local barbeque spot and they were just as dry...they'll never see me or my money again.
Add 2c water to your Instant Pot. Add Liquid Smoke to the water. Put the trivet in the pot . Stand your seasoned ribs up in the pot with the thick bones toward the bottom. Curve them around in a circle. Might use a waddled piece of foil to hold them upright.
High pressure 23- 30 minutes, depending on how many racks of ribs you put in and your desired level of "chew."
NATURAL release, to hold the juices in.
Run them under your broiler to sear, then brush with your sticky Glaze.
Enjoy.
You save approximately 1.25 hours.
P.S. You can put them in partially frozen, too (thawed just enough so they'll curve around). Just guage your cooking time with a few extra minutes for the thawing.

I took out a rack of ribs day b4 yesterday to defrost. I'm so glad you posted this; I was looking for an oven recipe. It's just too dang hot up here in the D/FW area to grill them, which I'd really love to grill 'em since I haven't done that in some time. Yesterday at 7:30 it was still 104 outside.
