How on earth are people taking these to be him saying he made EKT? He has literally started his answer before the person has even sent the question in... This is the sort of shit that slows searches down.

Very interesting. He didn't really hesitate or look confused about seeing the name of the song. Unfortunately, that also means he really doesn't want to talk about it or take ownership of it either, which adds a difficult dimension to the situation.
In my opinion he’s very upset that it got leaked (he’s comparing it to a secret or „reading someone’s diary”). It blew up, the whole world is talking about it spreading his leaked demo and you can tell it bothers him a lot. Not saying whether it’s his or not is suspicious, denying it would make the song spread even more because if it’s not his then people will keep looking blowing it up even more. He doesn’t like it and doesn’t know what to do so he’s trying to keep the spotlight on himself being all mysterious teasing people and not being honest

The best he can do is give it to us since it’s grown such popularity, or rework it and release it. But either way the community’s not going to rest until we get it and id hate for one crazy fan to hurt Darren over it

The site got hacked many times, changing the sample, sabotaging the search desperately trying to cut it off or mislead people.

Yes! Darren wasn’t replying to me because I asked directly about EKT and he didn’t like that, but when someone me completely different asked about bliss he replied. I only apologized because I asked about EKT and it was a breach of privacy to him, so he got confused in the live I think.

I always believed the theory the song was a savage garden song. The fact that Darren dances around giving a definitive answer, makes it more likely. If it is him, i really wish he would release the whole thing since the cat is out of the bag. I know hes upset that it got leaked (if he is talking about EKT) and doesnt want to elaberate more, but so many people love the song just from those few seconds, it would be amazing to hear how the whole thing sounds. Even if he just released it anonymously and doesnt take credit for it.
I think it’s much more possible that he was commissioned to do a song of some sort for a tv show or movie as an up and coming artist and he’s not exactly proud of it. Musicians do a lot of unknown work prior to getting “discovered”
That's possible also, maybe it was for a scraped commercial or something and was unfinished or the contract fell through after the song was recorded and somehow Carl got a sample/preview of the song that was being shopped around? I've definitely entertained a lot of ideas on this, either way there are heappps of bliss/early Savage Garden demos that haven't been released and it does appear without any doubt to be Darren Hayes voice singing the song and he has had plenty of opportunities to say it isn't but continues to hint at it being by him so hopefully time will reveal all.

It’s a very sad outcome as we all wanted to hear the full version and know the artist
EKT was huge and now I’m sad looking at new theories and leads
I've heard from so many people that the mods of the sub aren't letting Savage Garden/Darren Hayes posts, it does make me question why?
It doesn't appear that Darren is trolling us, he wouldn't ruin his reputation by posting about it on X (Twitter) and definitely seems p!ssed off for the demo leak, all Darren would have to have done to disconnect himself from EKT is say "It wasn't me" but he hasn't even with ample opportunities to distance himself.
He may release the full version but I believe he is waiting for his book launch and I wouldn't be surprised if he names his new book "Everyone knows that" or "Ulterior Motives" or something related possibly cryptic as he likes codes and puzzles as a hint he is behind the song adding further proof to his involvement.

As soon as it blew up and people were analysing and saying it’s his demo for sure he got super upset because as he says that leaked demos are a robbery and invasion to artist’s privacy as well as they weren’t supposed to be heard like this etc.
I don’t think this statement has to be about „another song” he even posted „everyone knows that” on x and deleted it to tease people. He won’t say if it’s his or not because it actually is and this whole case makes him super upset. It literally blew up, everyone’s talking about it, spreading the demo around the world. You can compare it to a secret spreading everywhere. Saying „it’s not mine” will make people search even more (and actually make it even bigger) and to no end so he wants to be in the spotlight being so mysterious but you can tell he’s really salty, anxious and doesn’t know what to do

Carl might be a producer or know of a producer.
Maybe Darren was going to sing a song for a product that fell through or it was a demo in his bliss days which seems to be a likely scenario currently.
All he has to do is deny involvement and the case is closed, but he hasn't done that even with ample opportunities to do so.
Darren has traveled the world and media can travel from country to country like any other item.
Darren has a ton of unreleased demos and songs and is very protective of his music.
It's possible Darren had heard EKT and sent a cease and desist letter to Carl which would explain Carl's sudden disappearance after the song and search gained traction, with Carl afraid of repercussions he fled the scene out of fear of being sued or through contact by a lawyer they told him there will be legal proceedings if the music is connected to him.
It's the only plausible explanation for Carl just suddenly doing a Houdini.
He probably not talking about EKT but is talking about his own demo with the same name. I thinking that he didn't make EKT because it has been said that EKT has recorded from a VT. I also think that it would be dumb if you were going to allow your DEMO to be seen by the public.

I don't understand how he can be disappeared and I don't understand how Billy Knight has not any contact with him.

I have met a guy with the same name as Alvin Dean (George Dalambiras) George was known to be a womanizer and into some heavy drπgs at the time.
He didn't disappear after SIM but more or less fell off the radar.
He tried to have a solo career and recorded demos and multiple sources say he travelled to Germany and Europe to promote his new music with no luck.
It's also possible he changed his performing name multiple times and ended up in other bands.
Billy Knight and George has a falling out during their days on SIM over an incident Billy has asked me to not discuss, all I'll say is, is that it was over a woman and the situation hurt Billy and ruined their friendship, Billy did do a small reunion for SIM years ago in the hopes George would show up, but he didn't.
So that's why the search for him is difficult.
