    • @brians1793
      @brians1793 Před 6 lety +5

      I could easily see it being that, far less limited custom handmade guitars go for $4k like the Chapman British Standard line. Not sure how much worth the rubies and diamonds adds though, but 20 is pretty limited and they might be very meticulously handmade. I mean at 20, they've got to be.

    • @alexbaskov
      @alexbaskov Před 6 lety +2

      i agree with David W saying that you can probably find 20 buyers for just about anything, no matter what price it has. Can compare it to some very limited custom built sport cars or smth like that. Very rich people will still buy those for like $5,000,000 mostly because they just like the look and its uniqueness. I personally think it's ridiculous, but in a similar way paying 4k for some kind of custom shop strat is ridiculous as well (imo)

    I have the sterling model , had it for two months. It is totally awesome!!! I ordered the real deal and it took only 3 days to arrive after I placed it. Some say that the sterling pick ups aren't good , I have to disagree. I have been playing for 40 years and have never been so enthused by any model or make of a high end axe. I have custom shop Jackson's, Gibson's , high end custom Ibanez, and many many other high end fiddles. This one is different. The p-ups are focused, tight and very warm, even the sterling. When I got the sterling it was used , the shop I got it at did no set up. I felt like the person that owned it before didn't understand the way the bridge worked. The bridge was bottomed out to the body, like they were trying to make it a dive bomb only. The saddles were as high as they could go to compensate. The sales rep said the previous owner said he'd never buy a guitar with a whang bar again. I really don't think he understood it. I put my fav gauge of strings on , tweeked the truss, fixed the bridge issues and she is lovely. I loved it so much I ordered an EBMM Majesty enchanted forest( with $ I had earmarked for nice Les Paul , .....f**k that) , I haven't had it long enough to form an opinion yet . Until recently I had never really been interested in or played many EBMM guitars. I get to travel quite a bit and have shopped a lot of great guitars and shops. I lately have been pulling down a lot Sterlings and Ernies off the rack and I think they might be the BEST made guitars in the world. They are expensive , I know it, too expensive. They have a kind of totally different vibe going, they are unique beautiful and lovely. Here's the weirdest thing though.....about two years ago a got a Jackson Kelly QEX(?) Green quilt top made in Indonesia , thinking it's the pandemic I'm home I'm sick I'll try a midrange Jackson , it blew my mind . I love it sooooo much, so far even better than all the afore mentioned hi end guitars. So....that's why I took a chance on an Indonesian Sterling. The Jackson's p-ups aren't super duper but it plays (after a lengthy set up) in-frickin-credible. Don't fool yourself into thinking people from other walks of life can't make a good guitar. My two cents.....strum on!!!

    that is definitely a unique looking guitar. but it really looks like the craftsmanship's top level. .not one i would buy though..both for its price and design. :)

    Music man’s are great the only thing I don’t like is how they put 4 tuning machines on one side and 2 on the other. I’ve always loved the look of a strat and the symmetry of a les Paul.

    I have set myself a $1,500.00 spending limit on guitars, but if I happen to scrounge up an extra $8,500.00 from my couch, I’d go for it! 😉

    no guitar should cost more than 500 dollars in my opinion, at the end of the day its just a peace of wood..and i highly respect the instrument!!!

    Concept cars! Sounds great, looks pretty well I don’t know, a Strat or Les Paul looks far nicer. I do t like that area under the pickups. Looks confusing!

    $10,000.... yalls could purchase 50 fender squires for that price.
    or better yet, 5 squires and $9,000 left for several good amps and lots of good upgrades, like better pick-ups. oh and money left for a trailer to haul it all around.

    Compare the piezo pickup with a clean tone on the neck pickup, I bet the neck would have the woodier tone. Never really understood the logic of using a piezo bridge on a solid body plank.

    Hi, my question and concern is a fundamental because no matter how amazing the guitar looks and sounds if it does not stay in tune has intonation problems. I hope you can clarify whether my brand new limited edition Majesty guitar for 7000 Euros should go out of tune after couple of bendings and tremolo use and the notes after 18th up 24th fret are sharper, 24th fret being sharper way much on the lower strings.
