Giorgia is probably the best female Italian singer and vocalist of the last 30 years, the ones that she sang in this medley were some of her most famous songs which everyone here in Italy knows by heart. She also won Sanremo in 1995 when she was only 24 years old (now she is 52 but still looks amazing). She is so much talented that back in the days some international stars such as Michael Jackson and Michael Bublé they both asked her to do a duet together but she said no because she was young and she had the fear of planes. But she actually did a duet with Alicia Keys where Giorgia sings also in English and Alicia sings also in Italian which I think it’s beautiful, if you want to listen to it, it is called “I will pray”.

Giorgia partecipate 6 times at Sanremo back in the 90's and early 2000 and after 22 years she came back. 1993 her first debut as young artist where she won, then in 1994 she was placed 7th, in 1995 she won Sanremo, in 1996 - 3rd place, 2001 - 2nd, 2023 - 6th.
Giorgia and Elisa are currently two of the greatest interpreters of Italian music. Apart from Loredana Bertè, Mina who is almost 80 years old but still has a voice that shatters glasses.

You can see her old style. In the 90s she won Sanremo, there was a newcomer section that she has won in the 1994, winning she then the main competition the following year.
Giorgia was the queen of the 1990s, her vocal skills are huge, but Laura Pausini has surpassed her internationally. Contemporary music industry is tough for a singer like Giorgia, who is clearly inspired by Whitney Houston. But she's an icon and she's a super nice person.
Funfact: the host of Radio2 Social Club is a good friend of Giorgia's father, a musician. When Giorgia was already hugely popular, she met Luca Barbarossa (the host) in a bar saying: hi, can I say hello to you? Do you remember me? I'm Giulio's daughter! LOL
Certo che se consigliate agli stranieri di guardare i video di qualche nostro cantante potreste anche fare una piccola presentazione degli stessi. I 2 ragazzi si sono chiesti per tutto il video se era una partecipante o un'ospite, se era famosa in Italia oppure no, se aveva già partecipato al Festival, se lo aveva vinto. Solo alla fine, hanno dedotto che giorgia fosse amata in Italia dal fatto che tutti cantavano con lei "Come saprei"....

I love how you guys ended up mentioning Elisa because their careers have been walkin side by side for such a long time and they mean a lot to each other.Giorgia has partecipated several times in Sanremo(at this one she was a guest instead), won the younglings category in 1994 then the bigs one in 1995 but mayhaps the Sanremo we should never really forget of hers is when she and Elisa deserved to be both first place in 2001(Elisa won with Luce,Tramonti a Nord Est, which was like one of the very first songs of hers to be sang in italian since in her earliest years of career she had only sang in english and Giorgia came in second with "Di Sole e D'azzurro") and their songs shared a writer , Zucchero Fornaciari.

In italia oggi ci sono tre grandi voci femminili a mio parere Laura Pausini Giorgia e Elisa. Personalmente penso che Giorgia abbia la voce più bella e potente delle tre ma forse ha fatto meno dal punto di vista musicale delle altre due o almeno poteva fare molto di più musicalmente con brani e musiche più adatti alla sua voce.
Laura Pausini non la metterei insieme a loro due, ma sono gusti personali. Piuttosto Arisa secondo me meriterebbe insieme a Giorgia ed Elisa ❤
Giorgia ha la voce più potente ed il timbro più belllo (ma questo è soggettivo). Non inserirei Pausini tra Giorgia ed Elisa, tecnicamente sono distanti anni luce.
Non so infine perché sostieni che Giorgia abbia fatto meno delle due colleghe. Mi risulta che abbia avuto successi di vendite superiori a Elisa e in territorio nazionale sia andata meglio di Pausini.

Arisa ha una bella voce ma artisticamente non è comparabile alla Pausini semmai allora come solo voce ci avrei messo Lara Fabian ma ammetto che a parte qualche cover italiana in cui è bravissima non conosco tante canzoni sue belle (ammetto che quelle francesi sarà per la lingua non sono di mio gusto) adagio sua in inglese che italiano è bella ad esempio. Giorgia ha fatto poco per il dono che ha sicuramente non la metterei dietro in quanto a voce ad artiste con la A maiuscola come Celine Dior o Whitney Houston ma non ha fatto un decimo del loro percorso artistico, un peccato. Naturalmente è solo il mio parere.
