These two songs are the ones they brought to Sanremo 2001. They were "rival" contestants, Elisa won with the first song "Luce" while Giorgia arrived second with the second song "Di sole e d'azzurro".
However they've actually always been great friends, and have performed together before.

@@DantePugliese parlo in generale, nei commenti di questa esibizione sotto i vari video leggo sempre "queste canzoni sono state scritte da zucchero" quando ci si dovrebbe concentrare sul talento di questi due diamanti tutto qui, poi ovviamente nulla di personale spero di non essere sembrato scontroso 😅

Elisa is a sooo goood singer, musician and composer too.. her voice is terrific.. she's one of the few singers who can .. afford.. perfect duets with her high knoledge in armonaizing voices together..
Amadeus fai ascoltare questo brano alle tue "scoperte" Sanremesi e aggiungi Elodie.
Listen guys. This two tracks where the first of each one singer that have won sanremo. Giorgia - il Sole e d'azzuro- have won Sanremo years ago.

Fun fact 2: Elisa written Luce (Tramonti a nord-est) in English, then adapted/translated it into Italian to partecipate at Sanremo (she won). The English version is titled Come Speak to Me

@@ale_98_ bah tale e quale non credo proprio. È ancora una grandissima ma il tempo passa per tutti. 20 anni fa aveva una voce fuori da ogni logica
@@donmagneto8972 non sono per nulla d’accordo. Proprio perché il tempo passa per tutti come ho detto non avrei alcuna difficoltà a dire che la sua voce è calata oppure che con l’età si è leggermente inspessita a causa della maturità e fatica ad arrivare a certe note pur essendo ancora stratosferica… ma con lei non è il caso. O almeno in questa esibizione non ha cambiato tonalità ed ha cantato arrivando alle stesse note dopo 20 anni. Quindi questa differenza io non la vedo.
