I don't have any plans to test the Q1000 with the radar module and battery pack, but my experience with the U1000 with the radar setup & battery pack will allow parking mode to run for 5-6 days which is very efficient.

I would really love to see a review of the new Thinkware Connected App that is supposed to include all the cloud features with this new model. I would love to have a competitor to the buggy Blackvue cloud app; so hopping Thinkware can deliver... but can't find much info on it. For example, I don't see how you use a sim card with this since Blackvue has either a built in or a separate LTE module you can use with a sim card. How would that work with this?

I just got the q1000 last week and the iOS version of the Dash Link app is so much primitive. No thumbnails, dates are shown under raw file name not the pretty date & time format, this Android app looks a lot better. Did Thinkware change after you posted this video or the iOS version got so much less love? I will switch to BlackVue then.
