If you want to turn off the voice, you have to turn down the overall volume setting.
Hi I have had a q1000 installed however it does not seem to be connecting to gps. I have updated amd installed the latest firmware and also downloaded all speed camera data. Any ideas why this is happening? Thanks

Wanted to ask you a question.
Do you think that a phone's vibration alert is string enough to trigger a parking mode impact recording, if held to the dashcam's body?
I was thinking of making a system that basically powers a 3v Vibration motor from a cellphone/pager/etc, and attach to the dashcam body.
this vibration motor would get a .5 second activation when my car alarm sensors are triggered (shock, proximity, and ultrasonic sensors).
This would be a way to record any events that set off my car alarm but may not trigger the dashcam Parking mode recordings.
(I found with my previous vehicle and its dashcam this was the case in my busy area).

Why you disconnected the dashcam from your smartphone at the end? If it's been disconnected then how it will record video footage in your phone.
Because it doesn't record video to you phone.

Why the camera beep and not told the event recorded. I have camera for three months all ready. Example the car in front is start, the lanes you pass or the red camera. Just the beep one time or two. For this price is workless.
