  • In this video I will create a back drop building using styrene and some balsa wood. Due to being in lockdown I cant buy paint or primer so I will have to do that in a second video if this lockdown ever ends.

    it's awesome how you just made it as you went. The balsa on the outside really gives it the relief needed to look like a concrete bldg. Looking forward to part 2.

      Yeah man, ive tried to do drawings before and follow a plan but ive found it just makes it to stressful lol I found I work better and have more fun doing it freestyle 😊 I uploaded part 2 on the weekend 👍

    Great video and super helpful! This will help me with my dieselshop!
    I thought about a smaller shoo.for like 3 tracks side to side and 2 locomotive lengths from front to rear of the building...
    But i will start with some basic walthers kits for background as a learning ground

      Cheers dude, ah a loco shop would be awesome to build theres lots of cool details you can add to them and good idea starting with walthers kits and doing some kit bashing, its a good way to get familiar with the shapes, dimensions and how structures look

      Well it sure will take some time, so far i only tried some weathering.
      I am from Europe but the layout will be mostly Norfolk Southern.

      @@19scamps92 yeah I know the feels man they definitely take time, ive been chipping away at mine for about a year now, NS will be fun to model and when your limited for space switching layouts are perfect!

      Yes, absolutely! NS allows for a wide range of switching.
      I will try to make a proto-freelanced theme.
      Some switching and a dieselshop closeby (which allows to run more locomotives then actually needed for such a small layout...

    Really nice build. I like the different angles. So you did a teal building and a pink building so the Miami vice colors are covered. What is this one gonna be? Okay, I’m all caught up and I got used to watching a few of your videos at a time so I’m gonna need you to put out a few a day to keep me in the style I’m accustomed to. Lol. They would be great to model, I recently seen footage of this steel mill in china where an employee snuck a camera in, this place was the size of a small country and had this insane apocalyptic feel to it!! Ill see if i can find the name of it for ya

    Nice neat workmanship, man. What is that cutting tool at :42 called? Maybe use some styrene scrap cut into small triangles for bracing? Would give more glueing area and might be sturdier?

      Cheers dude, its just a card cutter man got it off ebay for about 20 bucks, yeah ive done that in past builds just diddnt have any scrap styrene this time around 👍

      Cheers mate much appreciated 😎 its contact cement by Revell and the applicator is really handy especially for getting into tight spaces, I cant reccomend it enough, cheers for watching 😊👍

      I just purchased this off ebay, it was fairly cheap but it can be brought from discount stores and hobby shops
