  • What is going on everybody, this is TGA, and in today's video, we're at Bulford Military Camp, which is one of the main locations of the Royal Military Police, who in this case were under the impression, that I cannot film in public, but yes everyone, join us today.

    In Denmark tanks can not drive on public highways. They are transported by flatbeds or in special cases always have and escort of military police. The reason is that in the 60 we had some terrible accidents happen. I was 10 when I witnessed a friend of mine he was 9 got hit by a tank, in a crossover. The only reason I didn't got hit was my mother grabbed me by the neck and got me back. I was traumatised for years. It was not the only accident though, but most talked about.

He worked as a photographer at the base (for media and press releases) and I stayed one weekend while he was lucky enough to get a go at driving one with me as a passenger. It was so loud inside. I think the reason they were used in Northern Ireland is because they were safer around town and they didn't use tracks. South Africa still use the Saracens too.

    I'm not certain which, but some of the roads around the site where the houses are, are military roads. If you are on Military property, and asked to ID yourself, and don't you can be detained.
    If there were signs at the main entrance saying no filming/photography quoting the Official Secrets Act, even if on a public rd, then you would be breaking the law, the signs only have to be at the main entrance, and you could end up in the Military Police cells.

    • @taffman1
      @taffman1 Před rokem +5

      @@kensukadventures628 If you read my reply in full, you would have noted I mentioned the Official Secrets Act, Section 1 of the Official Secrets Act 1911 makes it an offence for any person for any purpose prejudicial to the safety or interests of the state to approach, inspect or be in the neighbourhood of a 'prohibited place' or to make or otherwise obtain a sketch (a term which encompasses a photograph) which might be directly or indirectly useful to a potential enemy. All Government Communications Headquarters sites are prohibited places for the purposes of the Act.

      @@taffman1 Thanks, but if you note the
      " for any purpose prejudicial to the safety or interests of the state to approach," part they would have to prove what you were doing fell into that category. Simply taking photographs for your own personal collection *would* not fall into that category so you would NOT be breaking the law at all However an auditor publishing the video could then mean they have published something useful directly or indirectly to an enemy..
      So it is perfectly legal to photograph protected sites if you are doing so for your own personal use and have no ill intent and will not share the footage/images with anyone who may have ill intent.

    Up to 15 minutes in a new claim that you have seen tanks. This is not the case. The vehicles that you announce to be tanks are actually Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) or Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs).
    These vehicles are intended to transport soldiers (about 7 soldiers, plus driver and vehicle gunner) on patrol or to a combat area. For IFVs in particular, they also provide supporting fire with the mounted machine gun.

    The reason the RMP / Police / Army etc etc have problems with you doing this is that you could be anybody, you could be taking videos / pictures doumenting the locations of cameras, which could aid in an attack. As the officer said, youre allowed to record public areas, but military property is private land. Therefore technically youre breaking the law by recording the camps and sticking your camera through the fence. At the end of the day from this video I could quite easily plan an attack on the RMP base if there was something of interest to me in there from your video, from the front and the left side I can easily see where all the cars are, all the windows, doors and cameras. This is why people come at your saying go away, you could be endangering their lives.
    I get what youre doing, trying to get attention to make videos like this, but try to understand that these areas are very sensitive and people who stand out doing suspicious activities are instantly picked up as either a threat or a person of interest.
    And for fuck sake stop taking pictures of soldiers and questioning them and laying it down to them when they ask you to stop, again its suspicious and you can get somebody killed by doing this.

Anyone who says it’s educational should just look into google maps and do a street view . You can see exactly what this guy is filming. Personally even if he is allowed to film public area he shouldn’t be allowed to film people’s faces who works there cause there are some genuine nasty sods who wishes to harm our soldiers and this kind of video gives them access to people’s faces and can recognise them outside the barrack . Maybe everyone should go film his house and outside his house and everyone that lives in his house and put it in CZcams I mean that too is public space

    Lots of people here making the connection between civilian police and military police, which is absurd. Not even remotely the same thing. Without looking at the legislation of the UK it’s a military establishment not a post office, police station or other government establishment. You would think that even if could see it, should you be filming and distributing anything to do with your armed forces for the world to see? Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Your claimed freedom to film this is also your weakness, to be exploited by others. Regardless of how innocuous the footage is, loose lips sink ships. Think about that.
