🚨Note! I accidentally swapped the titles at 4:35 for battery life 🤦♂ The Vertix 2S battery life is on the right. Apologies and thanks for tuning in!
COROS is the best in the game. Excellent watches and excellent customer service.
I enjoy all your videos thank you for the hard work
Thanks so much!
Nice. Too bad the ‘S’ didn’t stand for smaller version (like Garmin).
50mm is too big for my small wrist.
I love the rotating crown. Wish Garmin would do this, such a convenience during activities
Love the box.. great that this single use element gets the right material
Looks great! They really stepped it up.
Great review Des!
Thanks!
Thanks for the review. Could you also include swimming tests ( distance and heart rate) in to your reviews?
Love you Des, but really... when are you going to start using youtube chapters? I promise I'm not going to skip through your video, I just want to be able to re-watch parts easier!
Done! 👍
@@DesFit Hello! Well done. Congratulations Des best CZcams.
I want to ask you.
I have Garmin Tactix 7 Amoled and Coros Vertix 2.
I think best the Garmin Tactix 7 Amoled.
That's right?
Please let me know. 😊 🙏
Great review as always! How do you feel about this watch vs Suunto, polar grid x2 pro that just came out and Garmin for useable with their ecosystems especially with maps and navigation?
Thanks for the great review! Does this imply that there’s an Apex2s/Apex2sPro coming out soon as well?
Thanks! The Apex 2 Pro and Apex 2 are pretty recent devices with their latest hardware which the Vertix 2S shares.
I think that's what I'm waiting for too
Hey Des! Have you seen the new training watch from Tissot - Tissot T Touch Connect? Is there a chance you'll test it? Cheers!
Can you please do a video comparison of all the flagship sports watches. The garmin, suunto, polar and this? I just ordered the polar but this looks cool too.
I’ll see what I can do!
When compared to simply function and performance, without the exterior material,
Which is a better watch compared to apex2 pro and verix 2s?
after they screwed up the App and Web Interface I want to switch away from my Garmin stuff. Does anyone have a good tip, where to find people, that know both Brands and can answer specific questions about the App and compatibility across brands?
4:35 Des says that the 2s has a shorter battery life but the chart shows the opposite? Were the titles just swapped? I can't find this watch on Coros' website yet
Yup, accidentally swapped the titles. I added a pinned note. I appreciate the call-out - thanks!
Love the new screen contrast, colour-way & nylon bands! A shame there’s no solar but looks like a wicked watch 🔥 Nice Des
have they improved the screen contrast? I missed that
Yup, mentioned the updated display panel with more contrast in the video 👍
@@DesFit I totally missed that, thanks for that will rewatch
@@robturner724 🔥
You mentioned the display has more contrast. Is it noticeably brighter than the Vertix 2? That's my biggest complaint with my Vertix 2 is the screen is just a bit dull and dim.
Not sure if it’s actually brighter or not but the increased contrast and lack of blue hue improves visibility considerably
Having this watch only 51mm is a big mistake, most of the people can't use so big watches
If you are good with a 46mm, you'll be good with 51mm too. The extra screen and battery worth it and even with a smaller case diameter it would be bulky at 16-17mm thickness.
The Apex 2 Pro has the same features and is smaller (46mm), it can be an option.
I thought S is for Small :D
btw. I like how Coros went from 140h gps battery time on vertix2 to 128h and now 118h on vertix2s. They were always the best to pick when battery is considered, and now they dont stick with tweaking battery to be the best
It’s probably due to a better sensor that requires more power
Great watch no doubt, but not worth an upgrade at that price point. If I would be in need of a new one, than it would be my number one pick, but the original Vertix still serves me well, until the real Gen 3 I will wait.
You did change your comparision form vertix 2s and vertix 2 to vertix 2s and Apex 2 pro....why?
Sorry, not sure I understand
@@DesFit Pls check 11:29 amin nd 11:46 min. Unless titles are misspelled. Peace.
Those are correct, I test with different watches at different times just for a variety of comparisons
Why they called it vertix2s when its not s (smaller) than original one ;) 50.3 x 50.3 x 15.7mm vs 50.3 x 50.3 x 16mm
GPS accuracy and heart rate sensor are two major issues on all Coros watches. Hope these issues are now really solved.
Even on Pace 3?
I had to send mine back, very weak gps signal even though they boast that they use 5 different sats. I dont exactly live in the middle of nowhere. I was worried that if i coudn't use it for anything other than telling the time in a town it probably wouldnt work in the mountains. Dont buy in UK
looks like a garmin
This is such a disappointment. Way too long of a wait for this.
Yeah, my vertix one is playing its death march. And I was hoping that a new updated vertix would justify the expense. What we just saw is such a bummer of a let down.
