Yo había viajado hace mas de 40 años en esos trenes verdes ( se llamaban ranas ) desde Barcelona hacia Sabadell o Tarrasa, que recuerdos. Saludos desde Barcelona , España.
Just a little note With the coming hurricanes, Cuba might be better off than other islands in the Caribbean. Most Americans know Cuba is a good country and know the greedy corporations are to blame for the delay in things. God bless Cuba
These cars were built by the ''Ferrocarriles de Cataluña'' (Railways of catalonia) in Sarria (Barcelona) with components of the old Brill cars of this line. These trains, was called ''Granotas'' (Frogs in catalonian) and where operate service between 1955 and 1995 when the FGC gave to Cuba. Today, only a restaured unit of three cars continues on the Vallès line of FGC, a beautiful historic piece.
Very interesting scenes. Hopefully there will be easier visa procurement once US relations with Cuba start to solidify. It couldn't happen too soon. Viva la Cuba!
Nice video and exiting experience. I'm trying to plan a similar trip with some railfans but i don't succeed in getting a telephone number or an adress. Do you know how to contact them?
