HERE'S HOW THIS RUN WORKS:
In versions prior to 1.9 (1.0-1.8), there are only 3 strongholds. They spawn really close to spawn (as close as 600 blocks away), and there's a weird bug where 12 eyes don't actually work (the game doesn't fill them in on world generation). So the best set seed has an 11 eye stronghold close to spawn, which this one does.
To get our eye, we can trade with a cleric villager by using gold to unlock the redstone trade, then using an emerald on the redstone trade to unlock the eye trade. We get some emeralds from the temple and get the rest from a paper trade and book trades with a librarian. The prices for these trades are random - approximately one in every three runs gives you good enough trade prices so that you can obtain the ender eye.
Once we enter the end, we just need to get really lucky with the amount of towers + their locations + their height, as well as the speed and timing of the dragon charges. The end fight is really complicated, so it's hard to explain - but the crystals kinda work like beds, and we need to use at minimum 3 to kill the dragon since it will be healing between crystal hits.
