- In this video I speedran on the new MInecraft 1.20 snapshot 23w04a and crafted full armor sets of each armor trim pattern! This run was filled with insanely lucky moments and multiple close calls with death, so make sure to watch until the very end! The ancient cities were crazy...

This run is not a normal MInecraft speedrun, or an All Advancements speedrun, or a Minecraft manhunt. This is a Minecraft speedrun about collecting every armor trim and putting them on armor sets. This is a 1.20 Minecraft speedrun which uses the newest Minecraft update and snapshots. - Hry

the new default skins were stupid but the armor trims are one of the coolest features they’ve added in a while

Hopefully Mojang looks at this for balancing rarity, though it seems decent overall already. Fun run!
Update: They do, they increased the chances to get the woodland mansion trim drastically, so it can be found almost always from the first try. Besides, there were other probability calibrations as well

I kinda have to disagree, they don't really improve the armour just make it look cool, aside from the netherite one the rest are purely for aesthetic.

Now all you have to do is that but with every single Armor type, every single trim colour, and type of trim.
So basically 5280 sets of Armor, good luck
at that point it would be more about the different types of armor then the trims themselves though, since you still only have to find each trim once
And now leather armor works, so you have to include the dyed and normal versions with trims. Have fun:)

they are dupable, but it can definitely be an issue if you have to go through other players to obtain one

Nahh that's too grindy. I think it's on par with the "How did we get here", I don't think there should be another achievement as hard as that one
@@theseangle Achievements are good for giving hints to blind players. Mojang should not avoid adding ones that takes a long time because of speed-runners. speed-runners can just exclude that achievement

Can't wait to spend hours on my survival world to hunt for these. I also hope it doesn't corrupt it as I have a history of worlds corrupting for no reason.
This will make all achievement runs very interesting, because it will mean the runners will actually need to find EVERY STRUCTURE, including woodland mansions and jungle temples.

I think for all the cosmetic trims you should be able to do 7 of any trim material and not only diamonds. Netherite upgrade is understandable but the rest is a bit goofy.

There are 25 pieces of ingame armor, 10 material types, and 16 trims. All in all, that's 4000 unique armor pieces.

been trying to spread news about this keyboard function for a while now
you mass trade with a villager by holding down shift and enter after clicking a trade route
so long as you have the materials in your inventory you will continuously trade with the villager until you run out of that material
spam the trade profit with left click while holding shift + enter
yeah, i just didnt want to use more glass than necessary to level up the guys considering it was taking me a decent amount of time to smelt it all
i dont know if you know this but you can trade a lot faster by pressing space, it repeats the trade you did before, you only have to take the items out of the trade menu

4:20 the strong hold one is the easiest to find it has 100% chance to get in library chest and 2nd is shipwreck one with 50% chance to get
