    5th re take, I've worked out my angles, at last! I've got the a.e. set on the tracks with the mask, which works now as I got my angles down. Mu ch easier like that. Just need to retake the shot again to tighten up the sell. and im done. Doing it for myself highlights your knowledge as you make it look so easy.

    Thank you! I searched for this specifically and mentally prepared myself to buying an expensive app. You should know I’m frugal because I don’t have money to burn. So, I was like... if it’s an expensive app, don’t let that stop you from pursuing this desire to take your IG to that next level. Well, silly me to think that you could do this on your phone 🥺... Sadly, the only laptop I have is the one work provided and I wouldn’t be able to add the necessary software to do this, but I sincerely appreciate your generosity of spirit in creating this tutorial to share your knowledge. 🙏🏽

    A good way to avoid having to go to color levels (around 6:30) is doing focus and exposure lock when filming. If you’re filming on an iPhone or iPad, just hold your finger down on your focus point until it says AE/AF lock :)

    Hey man I just need an advise ,been struggling lot with premiere pro keys and shortcuts ,want to increase my editing speed by eliminating pressing keys ,crtl k and selecting selection tool ,razor tool repeatedly, for now I am using typical mouse for editing, created more than 100 videos ,but now want to upgrade mouse, planning to get a mouse which can save some shortcuts keys on mouse itself ,don't have budget for Mx master but is Logitech g402 good ? G502 again out of budget ,402 comes with wire( no Bluetooth ) ,would you recommend g402 in that budget for a user like me who uses premier Pro ,after effects and Photoshop on daily basis.

  • @ThatsFinn
    @ThatsFinn Před 6 lety +1

    Just a suggestion. If you don't want to export the video into Premiere, simply make the scale on the video, a bit more, something like 105 and then hold alt and click on the position keyframe button and type "wiggle(1,8)". If your wondering, the "1" is the amount of times the video will wiggle per second, and then the 8 is how many maximum pixels it will move by every time it moves. I generally think this is easier than exporting it in to Premiere but choose whatever one suits you!

    Hey Ian,
    I have been following you for a while now, and the work that you do is great.
    As a video editor, I have learned some cool tricks thanx to your videos.
    This time, I was wondering if you could help me out with certain effect which is almost non existent on CZcams, and is pretty similar to the one done in this video. Could be also a great idea for a future video tutorial, and would very much appreciate seeing something like this.
    The effect that I'm trying to emulate you can see in several films.
    It is the camera shot, POV of the actor that is looking in the mirror and seeing the reflection of himself(without the camera), then looking down in his hand(for example washing them) then looking back up to the mirror.
    The trouble that I have here is the transition between the mirror and looking down(or anywhere else for that matter) seems so seamless, which I cannot understand how to do.
    Here are few examples:
    - At the end of this video: czcams.com/video/nJNXCpfDrNo/video.html
    - At the beginning, but the transition between the mirror and a side isn't that great: czcams.com/video/Eo2VTV3nLIo/video.html
    Anyway, thanx for reading this, and really do hope to hear from you.
    Aleks

      @LearnHowToEditStuff  Před 6 lety +1

      Yea... the new title tool is kind of garbage, and by kind of i mean COMPLETE garbage. I recommend doing your titles in Photoshop (if you have it) and importing the .PSD doc into premiere and using it for titles. Kind of a pain, but ends up being better in the end (i think)
