The defending champion Milwaukee Bucks are hosting the Los Angeles Lakers in a historic regular season match-up. The Bucks, led by 24 year-old Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are trying to stop the Laker's historic 33-game win streak -- a record that still stands today.
The Lakers, with Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West running the show, were on a mission during the '72 season. Despite Wilt being 35 years old, his defensive prowess was always on full display.
A terrific game for a true basketball fan. Oh and by the way, Bill Russell is commentating.

I'm a huge Wilt fan. However;
Yes, Wilt was older but he wasn't THAT old here. Wilt had trouble scoring againt Kareem. He had many opportunities in the low post (Wilt Land) and came up empty many times.

I love Wilt Chamberlain and I was here to watch this and enjoyed it. It doesn't bother me that Kareem outdid Wilt here (who was also 35 yrs. old at this point).

What? Wilt was a better athlete, had more skill and pretty much did everything better than Kareem other than having a hook shot. Wilt scored over 60% of his field goals from fadeaway jump shots because he got bored of dominating the paint. An athlete who had a 40” vertical at 7’1” and ran a 4.5 40 yard dash. Wilt is the best athlete in team sports history.. Kareem had the most iconic shot in basketball history.. also benefited heavily from Magic Johnson prolonging his career.
