This is my childhood this movie pushed me to Discovery and National Geographic channels as I wanted to learn more about them. Ultimately leading me to science and Atheism.
Wow, always loved this movie for it's ending credits (for the movie too of course). The hieroglyphs as they appear and disappear, and the music with the ancient building background shown in a bit of light. The music fits with the ancient Egyptian era. I get the feeling of the power of ancient Egypt, and how it's saddening that era of history ended.
Idk why buy the ending credits with the music is by far my favorite ever. The Mummy is in my personal top 5 that I can watch numerous of times and not get tired of it.
I remember when this movie came out on VHS I fell in love with The Mummy I was fascinated with ancient Egypt and history lesson this movie made appreciate films the story and the musical score of The Mummy was incredible it a tale of action adventure, the Journey, the horror, the imagination, the love, a hit of the classical, the unexpected destination and the story ends
What a beautiful, magnificent, brilliant and deeply emotional song ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 This song is so wonderful and magical 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠 It makes me feel like if I am in the ancient Egypt 🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍 Glory to Egypt, a wonderful, interesting, important and mysterious culture and country in the history of our awesome world 🌎🌏🌍🌎🌏🌍
I would always watch the end of the credits because of this song when I was little, such a classic, such a part of my childhood - I thank this movie for sparking interest with egypt at that age 😊
This rendering of title cards and the accompanying track has made the ending of this movie an epic in its own respect ❤️ I think this one has got a seperate fanbase 🔥
All my life I’ve longed to visit Egypt so on my 50th birthday last year I begged my husband of 33 years marriage to take me but he said no 😞😢 This beautiful music gives me hope.
One of the greatest and unexpected movie experiences of mine. Went to book for Star Wars Episode I with my family at my local Cinema, we spotted a poster for this film and we all decided to see it there and then. It was absolutely brilliant - It had everything that made a fun action adventure that has sorely lacked since. The score here as the audience started to leave is still very nostalgic and it was far better than Episode I came to be in terms of spectacle and humour.
For me, it's like these end scenes are coming from within Hamunaptra, to tell us "the story is over now, and the city has collapsed, but the legend of Hamunaptra and Ancient Egypt lives on." I sometimes wonder if that's how Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) would have remembered it in her dreams.
Hollywood makes films about immortality and time travel: The Mummy (The Book of the Dead and the Book of Life), Tuck Everlasting (Spring Water), Atlantis (Crystal), Harry Potter (Hermione's time turner), The Fountain (The sap from the Tree of Life), The Illusionist (Magic)...etc.
My story will be the greatest and most wonderful story ever written 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠 My story is a story of sadness, pain, sufferment, hate, evilness, cruelty, goodness, greatness, effort, motivation, inspiration, success, happiness, intelligence, truth, beauty, freedom, love and spirituality. For love and for God, I will overcome and I will win 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️
I loved the end credits music as much as I loved the movie. It's fantastic.

IT IS AN ENTIIIRE POEM MEN... ... ...
I was obsessed with this movie when I was small.
I love all the mummy's films. I love the old egypt and it's history 😍
This is my childhood this movie pushed me to Discovery and National Geographic channels as I wanted to learn more about them. Ultimately leading me to science and Atheism.
and after 22 years am still obsessed 😃
Ure not the only one
the hieroglyphics accompanied with that adventurous, romantic score is beautiful
Jerry Goldsmith absolutely slayed this score. He put the movie on his shoulders like many others before.
I agree! In my opinion The Mummy and The Secret Of NIMH are Jerry Goldsmith's best film scores.
The Mask of Zorro had a great soundtrack.
The most beautiful music I have ever heard in my life!
Jamie lutz oh yes
ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL SCORE BY THE MASTER JERRY GOLDSMITH RIP !

Pedro Camargo yes.. is true

I thought I was the only person that loves this movie and not only, this is my no. 1 favourite ♥️
I miss the 1990's
Me too 😢
Back when 90s movies had soul and music.
Yeah, today 90s movies don't have that anymore

Jerry at his best here
Goldsmith was a legend RIP Jerry Goldsmith 1929-2004.
A fantastic legend! The Mummy and The Secret Of NIMH are my all time favourite film scores by him.
I just cannot believe that he is a dead man already.
We lost him 18 years ago in 2004.
Just cannot believe this story.
@@jamesbedugraham8056 Actually i was born in 2004, but i still like his movie scores...
shit still makes me cry lmao, this credit sequence is by far the best ever made in my book.
Same..reminds me when I was 12 years old. Those memories will never fade away ❤️
One of the seminal composers of my youth...Jerry, you are so sorely missed.
Very much missed 🥲
I took a real interest in ancient Egypt because of these movies.
Beautiful and kind of sentimental
Se beautiful music with special emotions & memories! 🙏

One of the best music representation of ancient egypt....
Ist sounds like an overture or intermezzo of a classical opera, not "only a simple score" of an adventure movie.
Great emotional and epic music!!!
So pretty how they did this. Such great music too.
This movie is still forever childhood memories!!
I Had all of the mummy movies and 1999 score is so sad but beautiful
And thus ends one of the most balanced movies of all time if not the greatest.
I love it! Y’all should go experience the ride at Universal Orlando❤
This end credits alone is a piece of art❤
I would always watch the end of the credits because of this song when I was little, such a classic, such a part of my childhood - I thank this movie for sparking interest with egypt at that age 😊
BEAUTIFUL song...... This song it brings me longings
This music is so beautiful and inspiring
I can hear the song all day long I love the song
The dynamic between Rick O'Connell and Evelyn Carnahan adds depth to the film, making it more than just a typical action flick.
The most beautiful score I think I've ever heard.
Its best movie I watch and still favorite and 2
I can see already people getting up there sit walking out of theater feeling amazing about this great film back then. Although I'm was 9 that time
Piece of Art
I love it. It's beautiful and epic.
Hearing this song, it's like stare directly to Giza pyramids

R.I.P Stephen Dunham
The one who played Henderson in the film.

The Music score of this movie is always so beautiful Amen to that effect oh Jesus Christ our Saviour.
My personal favorite Kyle Cooper title sequence.
There is "my job is putting words on a screen", and then there is "my job has meaning"
Did Kyle Cooper really designed that end sequence???
@@Velta_Nox yes he did.

I wanna see how people got up at the theater first time seeing this movie ending :)
