Thanks man this is truly brilliant first video blew my mind. Happy to see you made an easy stl!
These look awesome, I would also be interested in purchasing one
I got one looking forward to see what else you put up.
Thank you so much for such a great texture palette. I've enjoyed your content for quite a while. I joined Patreon for this, but I'll be sticking around for a while! Keep up the great inspiring content full of your enthusiasm!
For your contrast paint you could print a textured button glue it to the cap and dry brush it. Just a thought.
I had thought of that but thats as far as I had got with that idea lol 🙂
Thanks to your channel watching & learning how to paint minis specially slap chop and joined a miniature painting competition and unexpectedly won my first competition, even veterans were shocked slap chop won😁
Hi, I'm getting into painting larger resin models (a little bigger then typical minis) and I intend on using speedpainting. This video is very helpful getting me setup to begin and took your advice and I'm 3D printing my own pallet and used various models... Coble stone, geometric shaps and also I thought might be very useful faces from other models submerged into the bottom, kinda like the Han Solo in carbanite! lol. Thanks again!!!!
Greetings from Utah. What a good idea. Thanks!
Hi just joined your patreon has your video's are definitely interesting Is the dry palette an option for purchase has this definitely looks like a good idea?
That is a fantastic idea.. congrats on having the best looking palette in the mini-painting community. 😆
Haha cheers 🙂
Another great video, been using slap chop to dig through my backlog as well, even if it's mostly a lazy version that's just prime black, gray dry brush and contrast/speed paint!
Also, forgive me for being a typical American, but do you say thing with a "th" sound or a "f" sound? This has always made me chuckle when I'm painting with your videos on autoplay for sure! Keep up the great work!
Haha, its probably more with an f but Im a londoner and sometimes we are lazy and a bit common when talking 🙂
@@MiniatureHobbyist I totally get it, I'm sure if I was around it all the time I'd be the same, I'm sure I sound strange to people in another country too! Much love, loving the videos!
I think its a great idea selling them for us who dont have a printer. Been looking on the internet and there are very few of these sort of things out there, I would be very interesed for one
Love your content, the entusiasme for slapchop was the deciding factor for starting an Orc army, and i’m about to finish the frist batch of 140 boyz and nobz i bought second hand and have been painting up as my latest project.
Hey thats great to hear and a 140 boyz, well done, I bet they look awesome 🙂
Brilliant thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you for watching 🙂
But everytime you load up the pallet now you have to spray paint it black again? And that build up of paint layers will not be an issue? Really?
I was wondering the same. I think it would take quite a while for it to become an issue though, unless you're doing really heavy coats.
finally theteased video came out!
Haha I do need to start making more merch stuff 🙂
Hi Jon. Sadly no 3d printer here but I would be interested if you sold them yourself too. Let us know if you would and how much it would be :) keep up the great work
Cheers, yup Im just gonna look at what it costs in resin and postage etc.. then will post some details on how much they would cost 🙂
I would also be interested in this, I don’t really have spare sprue and mini parts as I’m a board gamer who paints his mini and they come pre-made. Also no 3d printer!
Evening i don't own a 3D printer but would definitely be interested in purchasing one if you are thinking of selling these. Keep up the great work and I'm enjoying these videos 👍🏻
Very nice just this minute finishing mine priming it black as we speak 😂👍👍👍
Good to hear, your bloodbowler too 😉😁
I’ve been googling these and finding nothing other then the artist opus one
I think making one from bits and pieces is the way to go, anything can be used 🙂
@@MiniatureHobbyist the only thing I’d I’m a big converter of models and using bits in this way breaks my heart hahah
Any way I can pay you to print one? I don’t have access to a 3D printer but I’m happy to compensate 😊
Im just gonna look at what it costs in resin and postage etc.. then will post some details on how much they would cost 🙂
Nice!
Thank you 🙂
I’ve never heard the word ”well” said so many times in under five minutes.
Do you print these with FDM or SLA printer?
FDM, as the layer lines show (see the recesses)
@@TomaszStachewicz those are strikingly similar to the lines you'll still somewhat get with an SLA printer, unless it's on a very high quality FDM.
I figure you could probably print it well on either and it'll do it's job though. Hobbyist has been resin printing for awhile now though, I believe
I printed on an anycubic mono 2 resin printer but i printed flat on the base so no supports so it should print fine on an SLA printer as well 🙂
@@chuppath1ngy you were right then! I'm surprised at such pronounced layer lines from an SLA printer, those look like lines from 0.20mm FDM.
@@MiniatureHobbyist Thank you for the answer!
So at the end of the day, you just wash it ant ready for next use??
Probably have to paint black over it again.
Cool
Cheers bud, I love it 🙂
I use a rock.
