This is the year. Bo Nix has improved so much under this new offense. He's focused. He's having fun. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a dark horse for the Heisman.

This is true, and playing another team in your home state actually helps that school financially. I don't know how much money Alabama State took back to Montgomery with them, but it is better for the State of Alabama that the money stayed inside the state rather than going to Ohio or somewhere. Those folks at Alabama State are good people and deserve to get a piece of the big college football pie.

I’ll be real, Bo always made throws like that from time to time. The problem was that he couldn’t consistently do it. Hopefully he does this all year.
Actually his foot placement was still horrible and has the announcer stated he at least got enough air under the ball but his foot work was still trash the point that you were 20 to 0 with Alabama state with a bo on the field Compared to win TJ Finley took the field and sprung us to 60 points

@Ten O I think everybody agrees Nix can do it. Its just doing it consistently. But some of us predicted this. Especially knowing that Auburn only seems to have success with "recruits" that are already finished products (Newton, Marshall, Stidham)

You act like the players pick he they play. Also, if the #1 team in the country opened the season against the same two teams that Auburn has the scores wouldn't be any different. As a Boise native...let it be known...WE ran harsin out of Boise, just like Texas did and Ark State. He is not head coach material. He was NEVER a qb at BSU. Any Auburn fan knows the execution and adjustments are 100 times better under this new regime. We could definitely be a championship caliber team if our offense could keep up with our defense, and that's what we are gonna learn this week. So don't count us out yet, until we get exposed lmao.

Asu will probably finish close to last in the swac who also struggled to beat Furman. Akron just lost to temple by 24 who lost to Rutgers by 61-14. You guys haven't played anybody and that will definitely show in the penn state game.

The fanbase is not saying we are winning a championship cuz we beat akron and asu, we are saying this because the team looks drastically better under this new style, we know we don't have an all around team, but if our defense plays the way they have (two first team shutouts btw which is hard to do against anybody) and our offense is at least mediocre, we have a real possibility of winning every game. When will Auburn play a top 50 team? I believe it's Penn St. Anyone can play Cup Cake U. Two weeks in a roll. Alabama always opens with a Top 15 team 12 out of 15 times last 15 years. Akron Zips ranked 128. Hard to tell if Auburn is good or not. Of course, Ala State isn't ranked in the FBS. Sad really Aub could not open with a ranked opponent then they run off the field like they accomplished something. Penn State is up and finally, we can all see where Aub is.
We talking about the same auburn team that always has one of the toughest schedules in the nation. They played two cupcakes to open the season, but they still have a tougher schedule than Bama.
