I think the problem is that the live performance doesn't look as good as the music video. Most people watching the final won't know that though, so it shouldn't affect it much. I still think Baby Lasagna is in a league of his own however and we are going to Croatia next year 🇭🇷

Baby Lasagne has a nice story behind his song, which resonates with many people. That’s great! The story is more historical/cultural and less personal than Joost’s story in my opinion. Besides that, Joost’s story has so many more layers. That’s why it’s my favorite 💙. I like layers in art just a a lot more than layers in lasagne. Although Joost’s story is a very personal one, I believe it resonates with many people because of its layers. It will resonate with everyone who: - likes to experience an emotional roller coaster - feels borders within themselves - likes to travel - appreciates freedom - has lost a loved one - loves to party - longs to the ‘90 - loves art - loves onions, blue birds or icebergs - recognizes artistic independence - is open minded - loves Joost I’m sure the list could be longer. Joost is an artist that I discovered trough this Eurovision and I am very thankful for that. I have listened to more of his music now, and I deeply relate to his feelings about being stuck in the past and missing childhood. His music awakes some very deep emotions in me and I really hope he gets this win. I can't even imagine how happy he would be considering his story with his parents and watching Eurovision with them when he was little.
