Since my 2006 Lifan LF 200 GY 5 bought new for 1650.00 OTD, is still running perfect in 2024, I think I am going with an XPEC 200. My Lifan over the years has needed oil changes, valve adjustments, tires, and batteries. That is it has been just an excellent bike.
They're pretty similar. I'd say the TBR7 is closer to the regular Hawk 250 and I would probably choose the BR7 over the Hawk. This is the DLX model which has fuel injection and upgraded USD forks, so it is arguably better than the TaoTao depending on what you're looking for. Hope that helps!
