    Great stuff as per usual Fab. One suggestion I have is to use the dipstick beside the oil filler cap to check the level regularly from about 2 litres on to get it bang on.

      Thanks very much! And great advice! That’s pretty much what I usually do but after the fiasco with the oil filter (first time for everything) I’ll admit I had had enough 😂🤣

    👍Full synthetic is definitely the way to go.

    • @FabMotorbikes
      @FabMotorbikes  Před 2 lety +1

      Definitely. Some are happy with part synthetic… but for only a little more money fully synthetic will maximise the protection. So well worth it in my eyes.

      @@FabMotorbikes How often do you tend to do it btw? Once per season or more often?

    • @FabMotorbikes
      @FabMotorbikes  Před 3 lety

      I usually do it every 4000 miles (6500 km). Or every 12 months, which ever comes first. Using fully synthetic high quality oil will allow you to worry a little less.

    I was wondering why you were having such a hard time unscrewing that filter, and it looks like when you emptied the oil and then put the plug back in, it created some sort of air vacuum, preventing it from moving. What do you think?

    • @FabMotorbikes
      @FabMotorbikes  Před 2 lety +1

      I didn’t think of that… but could be it. Difficult to be sure but seems like a very plausible reason. Thank you. I’m due another oil change soon. Will avoid doing that in the future

      4K miles. Never had that pain until this video. Won’t ever again though

    Why someone using filter hiflo 303 someone using 204 what is differents?

      @FabMotorbikes  Před 10 měsíci

      According to hiflo website. Both will work. Which surprises me. Please double check yourself though in case I am mistaken
