- Welcome to Cities Skylines 2 where today I am using my skills as a professional city planner to build the most profitable city in cities skylines! Effectively we are going to build the most profitable city possible. As you can tell this is not going to be your standard simcity city builder experience but rather a montage of exploiting cities skylines 2 to break the new game and allow us to create the most profitable city possible with basically no effort. Now we have seen RT Game destroy cities with his powers as a mayor but I am a pro player when it comes to sim city and city building in general so get ready to watch as the spiffing brit beats all other records by using bugs and exploits to win. So enjoy the first reveal of my cities skylines 2 gameplay!

The power thing, is probably fine, it's not a viable way to make money for anyone who actually wants to build a city. But there are definitely questions about why a single citizen is complaining about crime....

Technically, he is a QA testing manager. He doesn't find most of them. He just presents the findings from others into both paid by him and not in a digestible format.
@thespiffingbrit It really should be a better paid position. Could probably save a lot of games from the regular suite of bugs that is basically expected on launch nowadays.
Adrian is an example of the perfect redemption story. Down on his luck and constantly menacing himself with crime, he turned his life around and found true love and happiness. Bless you, Adrian.

When your 1 citizen has a split personality and keeps committing crimes against himself. Then he has to use his third split personality who is a police officer to go and try and arrest himself but unfortunately he is never home. Then he goes back to his 4th or 5th personality as a power distribution manager or bulldozer operator as needed.

This actually reminds me of different American cinema movies we used to see in The USSR where everyone was paid actor but Jim Carrey. Jim Carrey was paid detective of animals. The adventures of Ace was called.

The entire video is a very accurate metaphore for the effects of gentrification on working class families in big or fast growing cities. Spiff just didn't realize it

That whole complaining of crime whilst being the only person in the city made me laugh myself to tears. Adrian suddenly screams, "Help! Help! I've been mugged!" But if anyone was actually there, they'd see he dropped his wallet on the ground only to pick it up again and start screaming about being mugged. Now we truly know what that medical clinic really was (although the lovely padded walls should've been a dead giveaway) - and speaking of dead, the city needs a graveyard so that the legacy of Adrian can be interred in perpetuity somewhere near his statue for future civilizations to find. Then, after a millennia, he'll be found and deified. The Church of the One - the Adrianic Faith! All Hail Adrian!

I came for the gameplay breaking, I stayed for Adrian! That was the greatest story I never expected to see in a city simulator game. Better than any AAA experience released in the last 10 years. No joke. Adrian's happy ending made it all the worthwhile!😄
Really happy for Adrian. After a long life alone in a perfect but secluded existance finally finding love in his old age. I think he may have become my favorite character in any video game ever!

Adrian deciding to move out and live in the bronze statue, dude literally loved himself so much he wanted to live there and greet all the tourists. then spiff added more the hirise and found himself a wife, inspirational

22:43 it's these kinds of subtle edits that really show Spiff's attention to detail, not just as a Destroyer of Games, but as an entertainer.
The devs are really trying to polish this game. Spiff and Let's Game It Out posted a video about this game at the same time. 2 of the most chaotic people on earth when it comes to games 😄

I am legit so happy city skylines decided to allow you to play this despite what you do to games. It shows how they are being transparent and makes me excited to see the final release.
I wanna preorder the game so badly now. I never do but this maybe an exception.
you can wishlist games instead of pre ordering you get notified when they come out and make a decision then. Or with steam you can pre order and refund if the game isnt your cup of tea
please do not. whereas this might turn out to be an exception to the rule, you are still hurtin the gaming community in general by pre-ordering. Why do you need to pre-order it? It will release and you will play it at the same time, whether you give them money before or after the release. Props for Adrian for not only being the only citizen of New Tealand, but also being homeless, and getting married. A true lad he is.
I love how Adrian had the powers of the gods in their phone, he could just tweet whatever he wanted and it would be conceived 😂
since only a few months passed in game, I believe that Adrian purposefully retired to not afford rent and get evicted because of how creepy the government was being with the tourist industry, but the year long contract's fine print said he had to stay in town after they named everything after him so he ended up homeless for the rest of the year.
Adrian's character arc was very exciting, I cant wait to see what kind of life Adrian will live in my playthrough!
Considering Adrian spent most of his life alone in his house observing tourists... it's possible he went homeless and relocated to his statue to be one with the one thing spiff didn't give him. Someone to talk to. Being homeless probably greatly helped him develop some people skills so by the time he was able to move into an apartment he had a home and the skills to finally make a lasting connection with another human being and get everything he ever wanted in this city built for him.
I love how every EA tester is building realistic cities and then Spiff comes in and finds every exploit. it's good to have both sides of the spectrum hahah

I'm so glad Adrian found love in the end. Finally someone looked past the giant bronze statue & saw the man inside (literally).
This is the story of how a man living prosperously as the place around him is being built, but also, Spiff is in there, building...whatever he wants.
The ending was so great for Adrian, I glad he’s happy.
I've got to say, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself moving into Spiff's settlement, though as a tea drinker, I was disappointed that the region was not called "New Yorkshire" 🤭😂

Just so you know, you can terraform some raised land to produce max wind speed for turbines. I usually make a section that is just a large hill to harvest wind power.

Adrian's epic story arc 🧐 New Tea Land is full of tourists so Adrian supported him self whilst unhoused by pan handling. He never got nicked for pan handling, vagrancy, and loitering because of all Adrian's experience from a lifetime of commiting crimes.... against himself. More Cities please.

"We started with a humble dream, but we sucked for success." Spiff, my side hurts from laughing. The funniest video yet, my friend.
This was really touch-n-go. I was concerned for Adrian there towards the end(i kept shouting at my monitor “BUILD A RETIREMENT HOME!” as there were retirement homes in the first game), but he ended up having a happy ending.
Things i like about the game is being able to Export, but more importantly, the addition of dogs. Because DOGS! :D
I hope we can see other pets and maybe even more animals in the future. Like people needing to have an Animal control center to deal with Raccoons and bears getting in their trash.
But a bit strange that he got homeless when he retired. Terrifying concept.

Yeah, they had to, the company said the city could only reach a certain size and that any video's made couldn't be longer than 30 minutes in length. Looking forward to seeing more when the embargo is lifted.

This city is like the eco-version of Dubai. Lots of tourism attractions, lots of energy production.
Much like Dubai, the city is very soulless
Not to mention rampant exploitation. It's damn near 1:1. Add in plenty of human rights abuses and it will be indistinguishable from Dubai.

@@lumbagoboi1649 It's somewhat of a center of engineering marvels with stuff like the Burj Khalifa, and the basic concept of this oasis city in the desert is pretty cool.. but you couldn't pay me enough to spend my time and money supporting their economic and political leaders who are genuinely some of the worst people on the planet. The amount of that city that's been built by borderline slave labor is disgusting.
