- Restore the look of your Range Rover Sport by replacing the front and rear decals.
Watch Gareth, our Land Rover Technician, explain the process involved in replacing the old, worn out “RANGE ROVER” Front and Rear Decals on a Range Rover Sport 2014.
Simply using a heat gun, warm the old decal letters to peel off, clean the surface and reapply with new decals.
Using parts # LR088860G - rear “RANGE” / # LR045015G - rear “ROVER” / # LR045916G - front “RANGE” / # LR088856G - front “ROVER”.
Gareth uses Auto Trim Removal Tool Item# 6205 to pop off the old worn decals.

Why did you eyeball it vs putting a strip of tape at the bottom to use as a guide?
The RANGE portion is higher on the left and travels downward to the right.
Don't need pry tools. Long thread of dental floss will cut them off in 10 secs. Runa piece of painters tape above top of letters an mark start of letter. Use 3m eraser wheel in low rpm drill to remove old tape. Then wipe with rubbing alcohol to clean up surface and degrease. Apply new letters aligning with painters tape. done in 15 mins or less
the "range" is soooooo on the piss...........
Do the new letters you have chosen deteriorate also or has the finish improved?
Hi, I just subscribed, I love your videos, very informative and instructional........One thing I notice is there are none for the Range Rover Evoque.........I have the Dynamic version and would love to see repair videos for that vehicle.......I tried to watch other videos to see if I could apply them for an Evoque repair but they were different........Hopefully it can be included in future videos.......Thank you...
Hi Don, unfortunately, we don't currently have a Range Rover Evoque as part of our fleet yet. We're hoping we can have some future videos with this newer model soon.
@@atlanticbritishrp Ok, hopefully it will be soon....there are not many repair videos for that model of Range Rover......I have one and I have saved a lot of money by DIY.......I put together a workstation with SDD and some specialty tools......Hopefully I will get notified when videos are available.......

You'll have to reach out to your local Land Rover mechanic to be able to assist you with clearing/replacing your purge valve.
Hi guys i like your channel and all your video. I have a land rover discovery 3 2006 2.7 diesel, when i start the car in cold i have problem with the idle and the dash light not working well the stereo turns off, the yellow light of the brakes turns on and of and the car shakes a bit. This goes for about 20 sec. Since where i live we dont have god mechanicks for british cars, if u can help thanks. SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH
