It is a major problem I have owned a couple of Land rovers I live in the UK and found them to be a complete pile of shxt They come with more built-in faults than anything else on the road, The Freelander 2 is probably a half decent car though and well perhaps the Ford eco boost problem beats it [ Car and commercial vehicle mechanic Arctic [semi driver] Bus and coach driver mechanic 50 years' experience.

Is it normal to get transmission faults while going through the fill procedure?

Is there a kit now thats comparable to this with the Old Man Emu brand parts for 2007 Range Rover HSE 4.4L? I am now experiencing suspension issues. The front has dropped and wont raise , getting c1a00-54 and c1131-92 codes. Do you ship to the USA?

I have an 04' Disco without ACE, do i still need to use ACE power steering? Is there a good alternative when there isn't any availability locally?

I will be doing a re calibration tomorrow after replacing both front ride hight sensors. But I'm actually about to buy from you guys the coilover conversion kit for the 07 sport supercharged 4.2 . I've replaced the compressor and the control solenoid blocs 3 of them. And now the front sensors but it's still up in the back and slammed in the front. It won't lift but holds air. I figure it's a configuration thing. But I'm over the air ride and coilover conversion is definitely appealing. Maybe someone reading thins has an idea. Re calibration? Burn it ? Lol

Hello, thank you very much for your video and your very detailed advice. I have a 2007 D3 and I have this problem with a blocked trunk. I followed all your advice but when I released and pulled on the cable (the elbow end was actually broken), my upper tailgate did not open. No effect on the cable, impossible to pull it. Do you have another solution to help me out?

What a miserable representation of the technical instruction. No directions of fluid capacity. No Directions of Allen head sizes zero. The drain of the rear differential is not even an Allen head size . It’s by the grace of satin a 3/8 ratchet head . Try to push the diff fluid through An electric fluid pump . Doesn’t work. I had such respect for BA till this Lac luster video of how to do a relatively easy project. Didn’t even know what orifice is the opening to add. Fluid to the rear diff. Look at your video! Come on man! I know you’re better than this! The whole thing is a FUBAR.

Hi just watch the clip on range rover auto trans service 2006 - 2009 is the V8 diesel 3.6 litre auto the same procedure as pre clip on 2006 - 2009. cheers Peter

I had this assembly "fixed" by the Ottawa Range Rover dealer 3 years ago. I had the exact same fault and the old assembly was seized just as you showed in your video. Is this a new design ? Your instructions were bang on although an assembly diagram would have been useful. Thanks

Took me 6 hours in 2 afternoons sessions in the drive way. This is the standard on how to complete thus task. The only thing I will add to anyone starting is you need to be patient with the bottom bolt alignment. Get creative and you will get it aligned and done. I am going to knock out the flash tomorrow and will update after the flash.

I have a 2006 Range Rover HSE 4.4 engine. It had a low coolant warning and I replace the reservoir and the thermostat in it. Now I have a water leak in it. do you have a video in how to replace the coolant and heater hoses in a HSE with a 4,4 engine.

doesnt work worth a fuck, you need an outdated version of android, if you dont wanna factory reset your devices to downgrade to a compaitable version of android you can use any apple device to download the app, only issue is you cant fucking make an account to use the app. theyre selling a 550 dollar piece of usless garbage that litterally wont work, and you wont figure it out till you fucking try and use it. its been like 3 weeks im still waiting for my refund. fuck this company fr fr hear my warning. im consideri g taking yall to court for fruad.

I cut the heads off of the 2 long valve cover screws then cut a slot to install/remove them. I then put them in the holes for the short screws. You can then set the valve cover gasket on place and those two screws hold it in place while you replace the valve cover. Install the 2 long screws, remove the 2 you made with a screw driver then install the 2 short. Its a lot easier than trying to get the gaskets to stick with something.

Hey, just behind the oil pan there is a large black cylinder looking component. Is that an oem steering rack?

Anyone really buy these? It just seems so much easier and more flexible to buy a fold out solar kit. You can buy one with a 1,000Wh battery and 200W solar panel for the same price, and take it to your campsite instead of being stuck inside your hot car trying to charge your phone. Plus the portable version gives you a 110V outlet.

Don't need pry tools. Long thread of dental floss will cut them off in 10 secs. Runa piece of painters tape above top of letters an mark start of letter. Use 3m eraser wheel in low rpm drill to remove old tape. Then wipe with rubbing alcohol to clean up surface and degrease. Apply new letters aligning with painters tape. done in 15 mins or less

Fantastic info. I just had the turbo job done on my 2017 Jaguar XE with this engine (interestingly those came with the early pre-2013 type turbo instead of the later one)... getting a check engine light. I'll have my mechanic check the boost lines for leaks and tweak the wastegate as needed.
