A Silent Hill game in the style of Unrecord would be absolutely terrifying…
🤯
It'd be something that would give gamers nightmares 😱
Look up Paranormal Tales
@@ZxrL If it’s like what I’ve just described, I might give it a miss rn. Maybe when I’m feeling braver…
Or resident evil
If Unrecord would have a parallel horror game (same graphics and style) with VR, I genuinely think someone could get a heart attack from the realism.. I want it
Some people just want to see the world burn
There is a horror game like this hollow played it bodycam horror game
Deppart prototype
the game or the heart attacK?
Look up LOST FRAGMENT Trailer 4K
It being a graphical milestone itself, a spiritual successor to F.E.A.R. would be a good template for a horror Unrecord style project.
man, fear was my all time favourite horror game when I was a teen, I don't understand how it has not been resurrected yet
@@Gerhard_booysen Yeah, me too. Such a classic. It's begging for a ray-traced remaster.
Absolutely loved fear 1 and 2. 3 not so much
I was going to comment exactly that. Going back to the roots, something like a F.E.4.R. with the PointMan going to a desolated city, investigating and searching for "the child" that was kidnapped by some greedy corpo antagonist, that unleashed a massive event, with that Unrecord graphics, would be something...
Fear was in no way a milestone for graphics👎🤣
Black Myth: Wukong is one I'm definitely excited for, and absolutely want them to take their time to make it really shine.
Yep, as a Chinese guy, grew up on 'Journey to the West' dramas and cartoons thus SUPER keen for this to play out those childhood memories!
chinese mythology nice
Black Myth: Wukong i'm waiting release for PC
@@VGamerKH as if it already released for consoles 😆
The Sun Wukong game looks awesome. Anyone who has seen the Monkey King movies knows how much potential the game has. That name alone has the potential to become like the next god of war game. A super powered monkey that is immortal, can fly , has a cool overpowered stick , literally beats gods on a regular basis , man I hope the game is good!
Anime Tokyo looks beautiful. Just, wow! Now they need to make an interesting gameplay and they will have a hit on their hands
Sheer weeb determination
a compelling gameplay?
Not everything needs to be photorealistic to look good.
They don't even have a game yet, just a tech/art demo...
@@MegaLPlover Shit... You're right, should be "interesting". No idea why I wrote "compelling"
I'm hoping that the tools will make great looking games easier so the devs can focus on gameplay, story, and releasing the game without massive game ending bugs.
Note how the original poster is saying "hoping," and not "expecting."
I wouldn't hold your breath honestly. It's becoming easier to make games look better, but when you have companies such as EA/Activi$$ion who will nickel and dime you at every possible corner. I'm just waiting for them to start charging for patches that fix the games.
Yeah! Nanite Foliage is so great it reserve developers' passion and working time for the non-graphic things (gameplay, story, etc)
That's our hope. Because knowing these motherfuck*rs companies well, I wouldn't be surprised if they just start to release more games faster, to sell more and make more money
I'm really excited to see what CDPR can make with a better/easier to work with engine.
All these games LOOK incredible, but Immortals of Aveum and Hellblade 2 also look like games I can’t wait to play.
With the power that unreal engine brings in creating such visually stunning masterpieces, most of the successful games of this era will need a massive focus on things like world building, character development and narrative if they want to hook players and set themselves apart
Jolly good video old sausage. You're the man big haired boss 👊🏼
Was surprised how good RoboCop looks for a small team/budget.
When you have to show proof that your game is not a real body cam… we have truly reached next gen 👍
Unrecord shows proper gun discipline. That's something we need in more games and I'll buy a copy of the game when it comes out.
Can't wait for Wukong. Super hyped for that one.
It's never coming out bruh.
I played the first Senua in VR on PC -- and it was stunning. Made the case for third-person games in VR amazingly well. And you could change the scale from 'it feels like you're controlling an action figure in a highly detailed toy world' to 'it feels like you are a ghost in a highly detailed real world.'
Would LUV it if the new Senua also had a VR mode, although it would probably take a 4080 Ti to run at that point.
Waiting for STALKER 2 to blow my mind.
Fr
It's gonna be a while if at all... several devs have died and I'm sure making a video game is at the bottom of the list.
Bby love yall 🤪
STALKER 2 looks absolutely insane to the point where it’s giving Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition a run for its money.
@@tacituskillgore7437have they really? I wonder about the metro and stalker people. Just another casualty of war I guess. Fucking sucks
Fantastic content as always👍👍 always looking forward to the next video👍👍
Wonderful collection of cut scenes, thanks!!
Man I absolutely cannot wait for STALKER 2. It looks so epic and my heart really goes out to the devs man.❤️
Your heart goes out to the devs 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 cornball you just wanted something to say and type. You've thought about "stalker 2 devs" a whole 2 minutes of your life,😂😂😂😂
You always have some 🥩🚲 comments smmfh (Jake, I like your shirt Jake)
They've literally been to hell and back and the fact they're still making the game says a lot about their passion for it.
I'm so upset I bought a PS5 instead of an xbox. No starfield, elder scrolls, or STALKER 2 😞
@@GoDbax at least you get The Last of Us, God of War, SpiderMan, Ghost of Tsushima. Hell I want a PS5 just to play Ghost of Tsushima
Gen 5 keep reminds me of Gen 2 and Gen 3, when you could see a significant evolution in gaming & entertainment industry. But this one has always been our dream, playing lifelike video games..
Really hope Chrono Odyssey turns out well. And I really hope it doesn't end up like Throne and Liberty.
That caught my attention the most, it sure looks like a blast!
Me too. People were saying how this and The Lord of the Fallen were too good to be true, and I was like, "It's not because it's developed on UE5, so they're supposed to look great"
looks trash
I really hope it turns out good. But I am pretty sure Force Gaming mentioned in one of his videos that the developer making this game always releases their games on pc and mobile.
@@joshuaharms9564 it says this is coming to ps5 too
A lot of pretty games, but only time will tell if they turn out to be good ones.
When I first saw Onrecord I really thought it was a recorded airsoft gameplay with some guys in a abandoned building as we usually see in youtube. So far, it has been proven to be a game and I'm cool with it. Hope we can see more games like this and even with other suspense/horror themed as commented.
Yes I think horror would really suit that style well. Especially with the photorealism, dark corridors, and shaky cam.
Atlas Fallen ! Wooow 😍
Imagine the day unreal engine 6 is released
Unreal engine continues to make ready player one more feasible
Seeing all these realistic anime style games reminds me... what ever happened with that DoKeV game?
You can really tell the difference between animation vs motion capote. STALKER 2 looks to be using animation while Senua has motion capture. Senua's motion capture seems to have fixed the uncanny valley issue of the animations.
Well they definitely know what they're doing when it comes to crafting a game... Senua was a gorgeous game when it came out and the sequel looks to be even better.
Stalker is on a whole other level of complexity tho
Anime Tokyo would be a dope vibe if you can create your own character but only the outfits, to match the chill vibe. And you kinda just walk around while lofi plays in the back with birds chirping.
Great videos as always!❤
i'm loving the action old school type games as a huge souls fan not everything has to be a souls like . I'm happy to see a mix even street fighter , diablo , zelda , FF16 loving the mix of games right now
Atlas Fallen, Chorono Odyssey and STALKER 2 are my jam!
This list is apparently my next year. Thank you.
I Can’t wait for Hellblade!
And, man, I am definitely here for Hellblade 2. I loved the first so hard and this looks like it will expand the whole thing.
I would add those (most of them run on IE5 although I am not 100% positive), maybe for an upcoming list:
- Blight: Survival,
- Ill [as in "I'm _ill_ "],
- Quantum Error,
- Retrieval,
- Shadow of Conspiracy: Section 2,
- Stellar Blade (might be UE4),
- Vigilancer 2099 [or Vigilance 2099],
- Witchfire.
Anyway, great list @gameranx.
Unrecord looks like a modern Getawat Black Monday . Love it
Fun Fact: AMC's Post Apocalyptic Martial Arts series Into the Badlands is also based on Journey to the West.
It sucks that the series got cancelled
Motive’s Iron Man game is using UE5 and I can’t freaking wait!
That unrecord overexposure like an acctual go pro is crazy.
Thank you for this video! It created much exitement
Alien isolation 2 would look amazing with all the volumetric fog and crazy retro/future architecture 💦
Stalker, black myth, hellblade. The first Hellblade was such a incredible experience, as for STALKER I haven't played the first but I'm a big Metro fan and just games with this kind of eerie atmosphere.
Wow ypu have to give all 3 stalker games a go.
I literally have them always installed and ready to go.
If you like hard core survival horror you could install gamma, a mod for a mod called anomally, which itself is a mod for stalker.
Its nuts how good it is, but vanilla is still my fav.
Im sooo hyped for Anime Tokyo !! Love the anime art style !!
Graphics are nice to have but I wish developers would focus more or gameplay, mechanics, and stability over graphics I'd much rather play a game that looks okay but has great depth than a boring pretty game
Graphics and other works are done by different teams
Saying "I hope devs would focus more on this and that" is bs
People working on game engines are doing their job excellently and they *do not* make games
Im an older gamer and have always liked the graphics! Im genuinely interested in all of these games, starfield is one im excited about , then star wars is bringing another one that looks cool. New subscriber here, i truly am thankful for a channel that there description of a game isnt backed by coin 😆
Downright stunning!
So looking forward to unrecord and perhaps the first time I'd be playing stalker because that looks epic!
Black Myth: Wukong and HellBlade 2 are impressive to look at. Striking even.
when "small team" makes good looking tech demo, you know the actual studio games should be amazing & the UE5 engine is very powerful & easy to use,
Still, they do poor optimized games or just bad games. Indies and small studios have better ideas than big studios but not enough money. And big studios have so much money used just for release bad games.
@@pomelomarino7710 true, because of that i played mostly games from smaller or indie studios . Only very few games that from big developer or publisher
Small studios work out of passion. Big studios work out of financial obligations. That's the difference.
Yes i mean there are still good ganes from big studios. But in many cases you need to have a nasa pc, otherwise that "good game" will look like a game from ps1 or just dont work. Basically you need to be rich ir have a 99999999k dollars PC to experience as it is intended. And this is just for the money. They need to release the games to keep gaining and keep developing. So you have a cheap and almost slaver developing (crunch, abuse, etc) in exchange for poor developed games with poor performance each one $70. Indies for $15 are well developed and are done with nothing but time and passion.
@@s_ame1135 everyone works for finance reasons
I am so hyped for Wukong. I’ve wanted this game for a LONG time.
Keep the expectation low and you won't be dissappointed, but i gotta agree with you that i am also hyped by this game, sound like GOW since it used Mythological Characters. Hope it will be good.
Love binging your vids
I love I just finished making breakfast and now I have a morning show to enjoy just in time
This video is downright STUNNING!
The graphics gets better while the story becomes samey and stale. You could remove the titles from the games, and you’d have a real problem telling them apart…
Solid!
Top KEK!
Peace be with you.
Deppart is one that looks very much similar to the work for Unrecorded, and is a horror game work in progress. Loved it personally tbh.
Hot damn, seems I'm early! Keep on these videos, always look forward to them to make my day better
Stalker 2 and Senua's Sacrifice:Hellblade will be day#1 purchases for me. Can't wait.
Cannot wait
Love your vidéos as always
Thank you!
Go Gameranx!
I am excited for project M , i hope this will not get cancelled
Those games with the Unrecord visuals can get this money anytime. This is what I've been waiting for💯💯👀👀😃😃
11:27 They actually put the giant antenna in the game. Kudos.
MAN I CANT WAIT FOR ALL OF THESE GAMES!!!! IM FOR THE FUTURE WHOS WITH ME!
1:56 "Yeah, you fight dragons" 😂
OMG! I WANT this 1st-person shooting game! Would save me thousands on real life tactical training courses! Please continue developing and release it on PS5!! God bless y’all!
Been looking forward to Black Myth: Wukong for a while, but now super bummed when you mentioned it's a souls like game.
I was expecting more games like Unrecord, that's what I wanna see - that amount of quality in different settings.
loving your countdown vids
I was watching this video on 480p then remembered that it is about unreal engine 5 so I set it to 1080p
I was totally addicted to the whole ultra-realistic graphics scene for years. I built a new state of the art rig every few years. So I was pretty shocked when it turned out the best game I've ever played and the most fun I've had in gaming is on the lowly Switch, which is barely 1080p / 30fps with no high end graphical capabilities. Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom simply blows away everything I've played on my 3090 equipped PC, or my PS5. There are great games on those platforms of course, but the Unreal Engine and expensive hardware are absolutely not necessary to experience gaming at the very highest levels. Warning: don't try Totk or you'll question why you've poured all that money and mental energy into Nvidia.
I agree with gameplay over graphics, but why not have both? Think how much better totk would be if it had high end graphics as well.
@@breaddough-vk8gf Zelda is the biggest game in the world currently with 10s of millions of players. It runs perfectly fine at 30fps. I have a 120fps PC rig but right now prefer the much weaker Switch because that game is so great. Also virtually all movies run at 24 fps and people don’t consider that jerky.
high-end rigs will emulate switch games far better than the switch runs. So, in a sense, you did not waste your money and could be playing TotK in 4k60.
@@breaddough-vk8gf yes poly count does matter but if you add reshade and use mods which up internal resolution, then the game looks infinitely better than on the switch, which is what we are comparing it to.
Totk is awesome but I have put my money, times and energy on Ndvia to plays more games beside Nintendo exclusives which I don't regret..
I've been in Tokyo and it really does look like that in real life.
Honey wake up! Gameranx posted a new video!!
Seeing this from the days i played the nes...just WOW.
The movement of the player and enemies in Unrecord seems too real it’s insane, imo that’s even more impressive than the graphics although those are mind blowing as well
Good animation is crucial
I’m definitely picking up the new Senua game when that comes out.
Will be keeping an eye on Unrecord, glad it's an action game and not a horror game personally.
i am like:
yes, looks gorgeous
now, time to see any existent demo or the gameplay on release on youtube, before i decide to buy it xD
Would be nice if Anime Tokyo is selling as assets pack in epic marketplace, so that I could play around in unreal.
Unrecords lookin lit man
Hi Gameranx!
The thing that gives away Unrecord is the NPCs has no shadows
I wish they would make a full Matrix Game based on the URE5 demo
Crono Oddesey looks insane... does it exist, probably not but I'm still excited 😂
The STALKER games looks so badass
Yo picture that unrecord in a multi-player match that would very dope as he'll to watch in a tournament
5:36 Def super stunning, you can the see flaws on the floor I think, but still this is so ultra realistic, almost unbelievable! 😅
I've got a Series X gathering dust waiting for Hellblade II... love the first one
Yeah but the thing is is that I highly doubt that the series x will be able to run that game as it looks right there they're going to have to really dumb it down.
stalker is the apex of good survival horror. the original games still manage to scare the shit out of me to this day will being very challenging and deep so needless to say im excited for a sequel even though i've still been having great fun with the stalker gamma mod pack.
CRIMSON DESERT IS ALSO A REALLY IMPRESSIVE LOOKING GAME
I'm disappointed not to see any updates so far this year.
Why are you yelling?
But Pearl Abyss runs their own *custom engine* on it. It is not UE5, as far as I know. Still, *very impressive* indeed.
Also: *Project Awakening* , by Cygames, running their own Cyllista Engine. Looks dope.
Stalker 2 and Hellblade 2 🤩
I kinda hoped to see Kingdom hearts 4 as a bonus because the trailer was on unreal 4 but squere said that the game itself wil be made on Unreal 5
But still these games were also graphically incredible and I hope that there will be more games like this
Amazing video bro.. being a unreal engine 5 developer and a computer science student, i hope one day you'll feature my game
Immortals looks absolutely amazing
The Unreal Engine is incredible game devs can now literally make a game that is close to realistic which is insane and this engine keeps on getting updated what will Unreal Engine 6 game be like🤯
@@breaddough-vk8gf
you have absolutely no idea what you are saying lmao
@@breaddough-vk8gf this time your reply is completely irrelevant to your previous reply lmao
Also you still have no idea about UE5
Do some research before writing bs
Or you can just try UE5 by yourself
@@breaddough-vk8gf I don't want to argue with someone who themselves have no idea what they are taking about
All you said is just "asset" and some blah blah sht
Why don't you try to understand what those demos are actually trying to show? Like real-time fully dynamic lighting or infinite geometry support
And what do you even mean by "at the cost of other aspects", "crappy asset", "scripted scene"
Also go and learn what a shader is, it is a code that determines how a texture is rendered, it is very important and without it you won't see anything
You are some random kid trying to look knowledgeable while having no idea about all these things
Gameranx and whoever wants to, there IS an actual horror game from a single dev that has a similar camera movement as Unrecord called DEPPART, its a demo at the moment but u can get an amazing feeling of the videocamera footage.
The NPC in Unrecord don't have shadows (or atleast, their shadows are so soft to the point of hardly being able to see them).
Skeptic of unrecord simply because a fisheye view is not ideal for playing a fps but rather for getting highly sharable media, hence why it shows up here. As someone who shoots almost entirely fisheye photos the idea someone would choose that for capturing far away subjects does not make sense. And i suppose you could say this is a close-quarters fps but I remember the original gameplay footage that got everyone excited: shooting out a window at someone like 50 yards away. Seems improbable.
I was skeptical not because of how it looked and so on, but because what they showed wasn't a game. Even the so called 'proof it's a game' was just proof of the concept. It was a tech demo, nothing more and there's even a default blueprint in UE that would give you most of the gameplay shown, just without the fancy graphics. There was no game, it was one level, seen from from different viewpoints, within the game engine.
Hopefully it will become a game at some point as I'd be interested to see what they do with it.
Thanks good video.
