Holy crap. Simon. Big love from all of us. We missed you 1,000,000%.
Speedy recovery Simon good to have you back on the show
‘holy crap’… not what I would have used at the start of the sentence 😅
The jordanite have missed our leader. Welcome back top LAD proper clobber
Can't wait for his funeral
@@bigpoppaHH69 he ain't going anywhere
Absolutely gutted to hear this Simon! I'm a huge fan of yours and I really do wish you the very best and a speedy FULL recovery!!!
Gutted? He'll likely be fine, and this is a brilliant message! Positive.
@@marcuslouison3998 Yeah, I’m gutted he’s had to go through the scare and the surgery!
@@Islmicstate1bossman Thank fook we don’t all live under ur dark cloud..!!!
From one who has had those words uttered: "im sorry, you have cancer"... well done Simon for raising awareness. My cancer diagnosis was over 5 years ago, it was intestinal and I had robotic surgery after a voluntary screening. I applaud you for being up-front. I was, and it has made me more of a man (apparently).
Get it checked
Get it sorted
Get it talked about
Get it understood
God bless
I wish you all the best Simon. My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011. The cancer had already spread to other parts of his body. He underwent various forms of treatment. In 2016 the cancer became managed, under 8 psa. Dad decided to stop all treatment because he felt well. Unfortunately within a year the cancer came back, more aggressively. Mum passed first from a chondrasarcoma, dad 7 weeks later from prostate and bone cancer. Please, get yourself checked out.
Sorry for your loss, there’s always people if you need to talk call the Samaritans charity if you need to share your thoughts
Stay strong mate , my condolences
Incredibly sorry to hear that.
Thanks for sharing that and sorry for your loss.
Thanks for sharing. Sorry for your loss ❤
All the best Simon in your recovery and thanks for raising the awareness.
As a Man City fan Simon I am happy to hear that your recent surgery has gone well and I wish you good health for the future. I am 60 and at 55 was offered bowel screening to test for bowel cancer, and having a camera placed up your bum isn’t the nicest thing to have done, but it was painless and I didn’t want to pass up this free test and luckily my screening was clear. After this I had a PSA test to check for prostate cancer, the PSA blood test it’s simple and painless. My final thought at the time for decision making on both these matters was for my wife and kids and the thought of,if I passed up the chance of this test and in future years if I had prostate or bowel cancer I would have to then have the very difficult conversation to tell them I was offered free tests and chose not to bother, for me I didn’t want that conversation. This doesn’t mean I will never get cancer but catching cancers early gives you a far greater chance of recovery. Please guys go and get tested its easy and painless.
I am proud of you, I have had to have that procedure for possible cancer screening about 10 years ago, and everything you just said is 100% spot on. I never had my son back then but i do now so I wouldn't hesitate to do it again as I want to be around for my son.
The problem is that many doctors' surgeries do not give PSA checks at the drop of a hat - including mine !!!
Yep I’m gonna get it sorted now.
Legend Simon Jordan held the subject with such grace and decorum, didn’t personalise it whatsoever just sharing his experience. Speedy recovery mate 👍🏻
You’ve turned this show around since you joined mate and are an absolute inspiration the way you handled that! My old man went through the same and I know how hard it is. Best of luck in the rest of your recovery and I can’t wait to see you back fully!
All the best with your health Simon i had no idea. Get well soon buddy and fair play for using the platform to raise some awareness to it.
Totally Agree bro 💯
I’m now 12 weeks post operation so I know what you’re going through, all I will say is it gets easier, look after yourself. Your show got me through some of the bad days so thanks
Wishing you the best mate.
Good luck mate
Best of luck bud
Best wishes
Wish you all the best fella
Having lost my father from Prostate cancer I am glad Simon Jordan raises the subject !! I get that blood test every year had one biopsy so far all ok .
Well spoken Simon. This time last year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, fortunately it was as caught early , finished Radio therapy June 6th , was unwell for 3 weeks afterwards , feeling good now. Everyman out there please get checked .😊
Glad youre feeling better mate. I lost my grandad through this. Wouldnt wish it on anyone.
Get well soon Simon. We missed you while you were away.
From a city fan.. You are needed not just in sport but in society mate. don't ever think anyone wants bad for you. One of the best.. articulate an transparent individuals the country has produced
Needed by who he ran palace into the ground and spouts nonsense
Lost my father to cancer last November and in the days, weeks and months since, putting on you guys in the morning, talking/arguing about football has helped me so much just to think about something else than those horrible long days in the hospital. Thanks Simon and Jim and all the other lads and lassies you have on. Simon wishing you and your family all the best
Wow Simon still staying in character even through the cancer diagnosis is absolutely brilliant. I’ve never seen a more genuine person in my life and I love it Godspeed Simon.
He’s a geezer
How can he be both "in character" and "genuine"?
@@Richard-zp3ok good question
Very best wishes for your recovery Simon, I cannot reiterate enough - the importance of your message for everyone to get checked - an identical thing happened to myself recently, where a friend had the diagnosis and insisted we all get checked - I sit here now in Barts on day 5 of chemo for acute myeloid leukaemia, 3 weeks after a diagnosis where I wasn’t feeling in the slightest unwell! Thanks to my friend - and yours, we can carry on enjoying the show - and much more! Stay strong
Take care Steve
Many thanks Matt!
Stay strong, Steve. Wish you the very best, mate ❤
@@doubleuponbob3397 much appreciated Bob, many thanks!
Best wishes to you brother much love and blessings
Great to see you back. I wish you good health and a speedy recovery Simon. I lost my Dad to bladder and prostate cancer which absolutely devastated my family. I would advise all men to listen to Simon’s advice, because it’s true that the sooner they find this condition the easier it is to get treated.
Missed you on the show. Glad to see you’re doing well. I’ve had family members suffer with cancer so I know how scary it can be. Just glad to see you well mate and good luck with your recovery 💪
I wondered where he’d gone. Simon you’re a delight, I am happy that you got tested and you’re on the other side.
We missed you. ❤
Thank you for everything Simon, glad you have had a successful operation and a speedy recovery.
All the best from Australia.
I just want to say here that this show with You and Jim have got me through some really tough times, I love this show as many others do. I was in shock listening to this and I hope to hell that you are doing well and recovering! A lot of love going your way from me. Welcome back though ❤
Take care Tom
Hope you're OK bro
I had it in 2018 and fully recovered and I was only 41 at the time. Once I knew what it was I started looking into the stats and it's mental how young people are getting it now some in their 20's and 30's! Gotta keep on top of it. More awareness is needed.
Top man Simon I was diagnosed at the age of 52 with prostate cancer and had absolutely no symptoms I am now 59 and I wouldn’t be here today without getting tested and as you said it was a simple blood test.Thank you for raising awareness and talking about it openly which more men should do 👏👏👏👏👏
Wow. Glad you got it sorted and are still with us, hope you're recovery goes smoothly. Big up for using this to bring awareness of it to other's, top bloke.
Simon really sorry to hear that, glad you’re on the mend, glad you’re back. I’m 60 and have just had that test. Guys don’t be Blokey about it go have the test. I’m going to do it every 5 years.
Simon has been a breath of fresh air for TalkSport. Wish you a speedy recovery mate
Thank God you're back Simon, and thankfully you caught it in time and are on the mend. Too many people just carry on without thinking about getting tested for it or assuming everything is fine because there's no obvious symptoms or serious effects showing up initially or that we're aware of, and sometimes even when there are signs something might be wrong, people often ignore it figuring they can't take time off work or they'll leave it and either it will "just go away / get better on it's own" or they'll continue to push through it until it gets to a point where something is clearly not right but by which time it could be too late to cure or operate on successfully. It's important to get these kind of check-ups and make the time to take care of our health - even if your doctor's surgery tries to fob you off (like mine does) when you call up or try to make an appointment by saying they won't book an appointment with the doctor unless it's "urgent / serious enough" we have to force the issue and not take "No" for an answer when it comes to getting an appointment/tested to make sure you are as healthy as you can be!
Well done Simon, it’s good to see someone highlighting PC and it’s it can only be good. I done the London to Amsterdam bike ride for the Prostate Cancer Charity and 3 months later was diagnosed. I couldn’t have the surgery so it’s been a long slog. I’ve also spoken on one of the charities events. Keep talking !!! However, good luck young man and get well
. Dave
Get well, Simon! You've been sorely missed on the show!
No he hasn't
Big time he has
Wishing you a swift recovery Simon! Thanks for raising awareness to this issue too. We're so glad you're back!
Got absolutely floored by this when I was listening into the best duo on radio, Simon you are a legend but also one of the few people who in this day and age say it how it is, wishing you a full recovery as your health and family are your no 1 priority.
Please to see you Simon. Really wishing for you a speedy and safe recovery
Let's hope he doesn't recover
Jeez Simon!!! Thanks for sharing this and good to know you're on the other side of it mate and wish you a speedy recovery 🙏💯. You and Jim are my mainstay on Talk Sport and long may it continue for years to come ☺
Really really glad you're back and thankful you found it early, wishing you a speedy recovery.
My dad had the same story. He pushed for a blood test and is now getting treated. It's worth for everyone to get a blood test
Love Simon. His insight and points he brings on talksport are always a highlight separating the man from talksport..... much love to Simon on his recent battles ❤❤❤❤
Good to see you back, Simon. Great to hear you share the knowledge and message about what can be done. Wishing you all the best!
Absolutely glad and happy to see you again ! Don't sell yourself short Simon, you're a great personality if a bit bristly at times and I wish you all the best in recovering as well as good health!
Make a full recovery Simon. In July 2022 I had a blood test my result was 9.4 With gleason score of 9, which is aggressive, I was started on ADT (hormone therapy) followed by brachy (hdr), followed by IMRT(external beam radiation), and continuing ADT for at least 2 years. I have one more year to go on the Hormones my PSA is now 0.4. I am 65 years old now one guy had the same has me he was 43 years old. Guys get a test now. Good luck all.
Wishing you good health Simon ....im proud to say my team Millwall have been really involved in raising awareness of prostate cancer , your message today can hopefully do the same ....Sending Love & prayers 🙏 💙
💯💯💯
Excellent discourse Simon ..well done to share your experience ...all men of 40 years should do a checkup ... one never knows and this cancer can be cured if gotten in time ..best wishes Simon for your upcoming Psa checks every 6 months ...and quick recovery ..we need your commentaries
Over 30 you mean
@@jalberto428 even better ,,where I live and have lived always say 40 ..but why not 30 ,,better to be safe than sorry
Best wishes Simon on your journey to recovery. My father has cancer currently and he’s going through a battle. May you recover and come back strong!
Thank you Simon for sharing this ,I’ve had a cathater on 5 months and I’m having surgery in 2 months. and hopefully things will be ago . God bless you for using your platform to bring awareness.
Simon you have been massively missed, you’ll recover in no time 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks for information Simon and I wish you the very best of luck with your recovery. Big fun of your work and happy to see you back.
I lost a cousin to cancer 2 years ago as he didn't catch it early enough he was a firefighter and only 43 years old and as healthy as can be, so I'm glad you are on the road to recovery. Simon, all the best
He was also featured on tv having 10 hours of surgery as his cancer was quite rare, oesophagal cancer, and a very nasty disease
Wishing you well Simon and anyone here who is fighting cancer, thoughts with you all - from across the pond 🇮🇪
Thank you for highlighting this Simon and being transparent on this topic. Best wishes on your recovery 🙏
All the best in your recovery Simon. There is no show without Simon!
I’ve been through it 2 years ago Simon. Yes it takes time to recover and agree completely with your message to all men not to ignore getting tested. Best of luck with all aspects of your recovery.
Hi Simon!! I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2000 and was treated for that, only to be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2003. Cancer scars you, since then I have also had stomach cancer and get very emotional when thinking about it. I got very emotional this morning during your announcement. The only advice I can give anyone with this horrible diagnosis is, listen to your doctors!!! Our NHS is great as is every single person that works in it!!! God Bless you for "Coming Out" but just take the experts advice, Good Luck, I'm sure that you won't need it but Good Luck anyway!!! Luv Ya!!! Bazza, South London!!!
Great to see you back doing what your best at Simon, all the very best wishes to you from a city fan that enjoys your broadcasting debates .
Take care Simon 👍
It’s brilliant to see him back and a really important message, stay safe everyone.
My dad had it, over 70 years old, through the NHS he was absolutely fine of course. Get well soon Simon, you’re the best. Don’t play down the live from people, they genuinely care about you and quite rightly. Lots of love.
Oh simon my man. Im so sorry this happened to you. Please take your time to recover simon. Bless you mate
Good luck in your recovery, i had no symptoms either and caught it through the PSA test early, and only needed hormone therapy and radiotherapy, and i endorse his call to get your test done as at the clinics i met so many people with really sad tales, strangely also started growing a beard on finishing the treatment (for now)
God bless you Simon , speedy recovery.
I have non aggressive PC, I too had no symptoms and am having it treated on the NHS with a course of radiotherapy. Simon is right the NHS have been fantastic. My advice to all men is, if you have not had a psa blood test, book one ASAP, it may save your life.
All the best to you Simon and all men out there getting over prostate cancer, and to all the men fighting it my prayers and best wishes to you gentlemen 👍🏿.
Simon - wishing you the speediest, full recovery! Thank goodness you got tested. ❤ we missed you!
Big love to Simon Jordan my thoughts are with you and your family and friends ! Love you on this show your the best of the best! Wish you a speedy recovery my friend
Hats off for getting through that and highlighting prostate cancer- even more importantly for checking in the first place. Welcome back. Great to have to you on the air again. We need Martin Keown back now.
Palace fan here. Simon sending all the best for your treatment. Hope your recovery is quick and successful mate. ❤️💙🦅👍🏻
Best of luck with your recovery Simon, wishing you and your family all the best. The show is not the same without you
Great to have you back Simon. All the best to you and your recovery!
I had prostate surgery 18 months ago at Huddersfield royal infirmary, Brilliant consultant, I decided to have the spinal anaesthetic & chose to have this without any sedation, so I was fully awake during the procedure, I could talk with the theatre staff & listen to my radio,(talk radio) during the operation, then after my operation, I had my dinner, next day I was out of hospital after having the catheter removed,it took 5 weeks for me to get back to 100% after the operation, all great now, after 18 months, psa levels tests consistently low,
Wish you a speed recovery Simon, you were very missed and thank you for raising awareness.
No we don't
Good to hear your recovering Simon, and well said on the message it needs to be put out there
All the best Simon and good on you for spreading the word on testing! Someone close to me gone through the same recently
I can’t believe it! I wish you a speedy recovery and really glad your back. Much love 👊
Simon you legend, all us fans in Japan wish you all the best in your recovery! Ganbatte! Strength of character and resolve, like a samurai.
Yes wish him the best! 頑張って!
Handled like an absolute don, as expected. Also managed to get a "but not withstanding that" into your story.
Best of luck with the recovery and keep smashing it on the radio.

All the best in your recovery Simon. You’ve been missed.
Thanks for raising awareness of this Simon, I was very glad I got checked out a few years ago because I had some symptoms. You are right tho, we need to stop waiting for something to go wrong before we get checked out. Guys, get yourself sorted😊
Hi Simon, best wishes going forward and hope you make a full recovery. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April too. I took a simple blood test and my psa came back very high. I am waiting on a surgery date this week. A long road ahead but like you I’m sure I’ll be good after. I have one of the top robotic surgeons here in Orlando. I’m also from the UK and I can’t specify enough to all men, get tested please. It could save your life. Thank you for bringing this to the mainstream attention Simon. All the best from Orlando, Florida.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Good to hear you back on air. The show is not the same without you.
Massive respect to you Simon Jordan, takes a lot of heart to speak about it. Big Love!
Glad to see you back, Simon. Very sorry to hear about your situation, but good to see that you took care of it. Feel better 👍🏼
Simon said that he didnt even have any symptoms his friend just said have a check up and then told he had cancer what a shock. I don't watch him much bit he knows his stuff whenever I've watched him, very opionated but talks it as it is Hope things goes well for him.

Simon, fantastic to have you back. Thanks for addressing and informing us about this issue. Wishing you a speedy recovery and improving health.
OMG Simon, I wondered where you got to but I had no idea about this at all. I love listening to you and Mr White on talksport in the mornings and really missed you. So good to see you back mate and I wish you well and a full recovery and good health. All the best to you my friend and huge credit to you for coming on national radio and raising awareness about this because it's such an important thing that maybe don't get talked about enough. Well done Simon.
Hope you get better soon simon!
Hope you get well soon Simon, good to see you looking well after such a big surgery
Health over everything...blessings and wishes for your full recovery 🙏🏼
OMG when I heard this discussion, I thought I haven’t been checked for a while! I had the PSA as Simon suggested and the result was quite high. I had no symptoms whatsoever and considered myself to be quite a healthy 69-year-old. I have now been “Fingered, scanned, Biopsied and consulted. It turns out that I have quite a risk of the cancer spreading elsewhere, into lymph nodes!
I had no idea that I had any form of cancer but am now starting along a journey which hopefully has a light at the end of it. I am absolutely sure that if I hadn’t heard the discussion I would be in a very different and more serious position.
I cannot thank Simon enough for his unveiling and would strongly encourage every guy to ask the doctor for a PSA test, just to make sure. Please don’t think you’re invincible!
Every morning I was checking for Simon being back, and thought he must be having a longer holiday. Glad to hear the surgery went we'll and your on the mend. Great to have you back Simon.
Absolute trooper and a very resilient man, wish you all the best with your recovery Simon
Can't wait for the funeral
God bless. So sorry to hear this. Speedy recovery
Lots of love Simon. My dad, his two brothers, and my grandad all had Prostrate Cancer, and I'm 34 this year, and already making sure my doctors know that I will be beating the drum about annual PSA tests as I'm at high risk. Yes, Prostate Cancer tends to pop up after 50 or 60, but not all of the time. And the numbers have shown it to be one of the leading Killers in men for late diagnosis, but one of the most curable if you get routine checkups. My dad tested every year after 40 and finally at age 64, he had an adverse test score, confirmed he had it, made plans to have it operated on (using newer technologies called a cyberknife) and was in and out of the hospital as if he were treating a cold. My uncle on the other hand went about it lazily, diagnosed it late, and is now in his second stint of chemo after his original cancer returned. EVERYTHING SIMON SAYS HERE IS TRUE. Men over 30, make sure you protect your crown jewels! ❤
Hi Simon, sorry to hear you had been unwell. Wishing you a speedy recovery 💪🤘👊
Wow, had no idea! Great to see you back Simon, we've all missed you. Here's to a full recovery ❤🦅💙🦅⚽️🥅
Simon we missed you whilst you were away and we are so happy that you are doing better now Sir. All the best to you in your recovery mate, well done to you for raising awareness for an important concern for men.
So shocked and saddened to hear this news, Simon. I wish you a full and speedy recovery, mate. You are a one-of-a-kind ❤❤❤❤
Even in the toughest times and discussing a serious topics as cancer Simon still manages to dig at Eddie "snakeoilsalesman" Hearn 😂
