- A pair of 138t Liebherr R9150B excavators working in a UK quarry digging un-blasted chalk for the cement industry. The excavators are used to break the stone up to stop it blocking the static crusher. They load 40-50t capacity trucks as the opening to the crusher is too small for a larger truck. As blasting is not allowed on site, the time in-between loading trucks is spent digging and prying material loose.

Thank you for sharing. I can rarely see any video of this mighty Liebherr on the web and yours is a good one! 😊
This is a very thoughtful setup. The trucks are a good match for the smaller bucket of the excavator.
Nice footage of blasted chalk is dug up by the excavator, I like the fact that you explained the video, others don't explain what is going on.
Not blasted at all.
They rip the chalk not blast it
Good video thanks for a decent description 👍
hello, a shovel of this type is worth around 1 million euros each ??? 🤔🤔🤔
Mehr davon. Schönster und bester bagger überhaupt. 😍😍
Molto potente👍
I wonder why blasting is not allowed in that kind of site. Could there be a risk of ground water contamination or something,
My neighbour is parking in front of my driveway. Can I borrow this machine?
Super strong💪
Liebherr r9150b, cat 6015b, komatsu pc1250, hitachi ex1200, best excavator in quarry.
Also the Volvo 950e

No
950 is 50 ton smaller
Liebherr R9150 and Cat 6015b they are heavier, higher category, Lieb performs better. Hitachi 1200 and komatsu 1250 are in the same category, hitachi probably has slightly better performance.
Hey awesome video. What kind of stone is this?
Die Kettenfahrwerke sind etwas zu schmal geraten für diesen schweren Bagger. Bei weicherem Untergrund kann sich das Gerät leicht fest fahren.
Is the paint color intentionally matching the rock?
lol no... All Liebherr ''Mining'' equipment is painted in white.
It also keeps the machine cool, because of how hot it can get.
Why are the tracks smaller then for example a 30 ton excavator?
Basically because it sits on rock all day and doesn't need to spread its weight. Keeps it planted to the ground.
@@RPAMEDIA Okay that makes sense..thnx. I have bought the scale one 1:50 and even that size impresses me...beautiful machine.
🤩🤩🤩
Does liebherr also make those in yellow?
Their Mining machines are all in white.
Yes
Why so narrow tracks?
Minin machines. Always on narrow tracks with rock
