  • Streets remain flooded in Dubai after the heaviest rainfall in the United Arab Emirates in 75 years. The flooding caused travel chaos as Dubai airport grounded flights and closed its terminals. As flood waters recede, some people are taking matters into their own hands using kayaks to rescue stranded residents. Up to 259.5mm (10.2in) of rain fell on the usually arid country on Tuesday, with neighbouring countries also hit by heavy rain earlier in the week. In Oman, 20 people died, including 10 schoolchildren, when their vehicle was swept away

For those who have no clue about Dubai, they can just make all kind of accusations. It only shows their ignorance and jealousy of the city.
Cloud seeding is a very expensive process, even it was done, it can't produce this kind of rain. The infrastructure in Dubai is one of the best in the world, and the rulers of the country provide the best to its citizens and residents. They don't have the money that people think they have. However, with the limited resources they have, the country has done far better than countries with 100 times more natural resources.

Cloud seeding went wrong! Still they should store that water. Also, this amount gives data on how well their system is made

They need to apply permaculture principles to the land all around the region (see Bill Mollison and Geoff Lawton, Australia) and the Paani Foundation (Water Cup) in India - amazing what they did with their dry land (also Andrew Millison in the US). Won't stop the superstorms but would handle the water much better and put it where it is supposed to go, into the soil via permanent plant roots in the ground and down into the aquifer below (with tons of bonuses for people and wildlife). Similar for the UK - read Isabella Tree's book Wilding and see how the river that runs through their estate no longer floods the village downstream because of wilding and permaculture principles applied on the land upstream and allowing the river to meander naturally (and therefore store water in the soil) when it used to flood every winter. If the powers that be were wise, they'd start learning about permaculture asap and teaching their citizens to do it too.

There is a beautiful saying: wherever there is rain, water spreads and life flourishes more. The United Arab Emirates will become, in the coming years, a land of rivers and lakes. The recent rains have revealed many river paths, watershed areas, and natural lakes that were in the past full of fresh water, and in the coming years we will witness water wealth. It is large in the United Arab Emirates, and this presents a great opportunity for significant growth in the Emirates, whether in sustainable energy production, agriculture, tourism projects, or eco-tourism, and facing the challenges of climate change that the whole world will face, represented by increasing amounts of rain, floods, etc.

It happened to Saudi Arabia Jeddah when it rained heavy it flooded the streets so quickly. No drainage system.
Where do you think the water will go if no drains? Streets will be flooded and their houses as well.

This was their fort at the time. It served all the places around it including hits on Russia.
They had stuff scattered in other places too.
Canada ran a test to take out their defense and ran it with Andy.
They took out 3 of their things and I heard they didn't even know where it was coming from since it was far away. I can't verify as I didn't see the event but I recall riding with both Mike and Andy separately that day.
"I'd be fd against Canada, but I have to sell to it anyway."
"they do better than other people who try all the time."
