Hi, I love your videos and hope to see you sailing again soon. In Kefalonia, near Fiskardo, there is a beautiful bay called Dafnoudi. Have you seen It?
Both islands are beautiful, with fantastic, exotic beaches and amazing landscapes. But I prefer Kefalonia, it is more nicely and carefully built, people are more welcoming and it is not as touristy as Zakynthos. Great video!

Wow that rock fall looked so scary!!! Beautiful islands though. The caves reminded us of the blue lagoon which is on Malta (highly recommend to add that to your bucket list of places to visit!) Can't beat the hospitality of the Greeks in the restaurants - their service and friendliness is legendary! You're both very brave on those heights btw - I don't like heights myself so would feel very uncomfortable! Our girls want to go horse riding again now - something for us now to organise in the summer hols :) Vote wise we were split 50/50 on which island was the nicest to visit - everyone said they would have done both though like you did! Looking forward to your visit to the Bahama's next - have fun both!

I a a sucker for caves and those were stellar. Obviously amazing views all along the way. It'd be interesting to do a "things not to do" or "places not to go" in Greece based on your trips here. The wife and I are planning to make a similar trip and any info is good.

@@KristinasTravels I took a cruise around the island and the shipwreck was my favorite part. The place is much beautiful in reality than the videos. Being there is a totally different experience than just seeing a video. Also Zakynthos was my last stop in my travel journey. I started from Lefkada island and then Kefalonia Wich for me was my favorite place. Has more style and is more elegant.

We have visited both islands and me and my wife were in the same opinion we preferred zakynthos so much so we got married in 2015 in tsilivi on the island and have returned every year since..fantastic vlog btw 😊🇬🇷😎😎x
Zakynthos is on my list for next time I ever visit Greece, so far from aus so will definitely will be a once and a life time, hope I get there soon

They have a video camera in them to capture content. You might have done already, but I just wondered, it might be another good piece of kit for the Vlogging arsenal! Can you guys add the link to your Airbnb in Zakynthos? Also, I highly recommend adding Myzithres viewpoint to your itinerary. In my opinion, a much nicer view than the Navagio Shipwreck.

Stunning stunning. However. There is no most stunning Greek island or mainland area. All areas and islands are gorgeous. You have no idea.
Not just the islands you visited. Visit 50 other islands and you will he equally mindblown.
Even very unknown islands are bizarly beautiful. And so differentmore and more vloggers make trips to such lesser known islands. And they are no less than Zakytnhos, or Kefalonia and so on

Super difficult right!!
The lookout point in Kefallonia where you viewed the beach of Myrtos was affected by the eartquakes that struck the island in 2014 with 6.7 Ricthers. That made the earth on the spot of Harakas bridge (that's the name of the spot) to literally tear apart making more wide the gap that this bridge is connecting and that's why it also affected the road and made it so bad. The surface minerals are limestone and it's quite unstable to fix this as you can't really build on such materials something that will last forever and not be affected by the elements of nature ( strong winds but more importantly rain that falls in abundance in winter time). You have to remember that Kefallonia is the one place in Greece affected most of all from HUGE earthquakes which in the past (1953) destroyed the island completely (480 people died and thousands injured) . I understand why you loved Zakynthos more since you didn't visit all the sightseeing spots in Kephallonia for instance you didn't hiked mountain Ainos the tallest of the island where a local breed of wild horses still lives there or didn't visit the other cave of island Drogarati some kilometers only from Melissani which has a huge plateau in it and was used and still used from concert events. It went to the monastery of Kipouria in the south west of the island which also has an amazing beach underneath over the cliffs there. You would also be amazed by the red sand beach of Xi beach near Lixouri ( the second largest city of the island) which also provide the swimmers there with green clay that is suitable for spa skin care.

@@KristinasTravels it's really nothing since my mom was born in a small village some kilometers from Myrtos and I have went for many summers to the island. It used to be far more greener but the fires that had in 3 consecutive decades have managed to eradicate at least 50% of its green. To the point that vegetation looked like Alpine scenery or even up to Amazonian style forest. So Thick that I was afraid to get lost if I entered the forest. Back when she was little the rain in winter dropped for days or even weeks sustaining it for good.
Great video but you missed by far the best beaches in Kefalonia - they are only accessible by boat though. Might have swung the pendulum Kefalonia's way, but maybe its for the best as they will remain unknown for a little longer :-)
Haha! Oh really?! Oh no! We’ll have to save them for when we have a boat in Greece again one day (hopefully soooooon!) but you’re SO right. Sometimes it is a blessing not revealing ALL the best spots.. keep them secret a little longer 😉

Where to go? Kefalonia or Zakinthos? Hmm. Tough choice. We’re going to Lefkada. 😉😂 I fear that K & Z may be overly crowded in the summer and Lefkada looks stunning (just like most islands)!

The guides tell you not to sun bath at the bottom of the cliffs, but you can swim directly under them? Sounds dangerous to us.

Boats are not allowed to anchor in front of shipwreck beach or people to go on shore until 31st of October 2023 now. 😢 New government regulations due to landslides. So you got lucky!
