- This unsuspecting bride got the most heartwarming surprise during what would have been the father-daughter dance. The beloved men in her life, came together, to give her a night she will remember for the rest of her life.
Sometimes I torture myself and watch deeply, beautiful and emotional videos like this and bawl my eyes out.

Awwww, sweetest thing ever. My father passed away two days before I got married. He knew my fiance, saw my dress and rings and he gave us our blessing and said that no matter what happened, to go ahead and get married. It was one of the toughest things ever -- we had no honeymoon as we stayed in town for my Dad's memorial service the day after our wedding. It was weird to have people saying "Congratulations" and "I'm so sorry" at the same time... that was 29 years ago. Miss my Daddy every day and now we dance only in my dreams, sigh.

I did not click on this video expecting this song. I lost my dad this summer and played this for him before we had to say goodbye. As a 16 year old girl, the first thought I had was “who am I going to dance with at my wedding?” I really wish I could reach out and hug this beautiful bride and every other girl who knows what the loss of a father feels like

This is PRETTY much my FAVORITE father-daughter dance I have ever seen on CZcams, and I have seen a lot of different videos. This one makes me truly cry. Not only because it's sad that she lost her father, but - it's because YOU can truly see the love she has for her brothers and also how sweet it was of her father-in-law to step up and dance with her!
this is my favorite I had to save it... I was trying to express how I felt about watching cause I cry but i dont have my dad by hia choice...but always I feel blessed to see her have people in her life to keep the love alive... and know I have a few people who will love me like that at my wedding... if that make sense

I never got to experience any of my milestones with my father, he was killed by a train before I turned two. I wish I could have those kinds of moments, but to the ones that still have their dads, hold on to them...even if they're not the greatest person on the planet. Some girls would die to have their fathers still alive to be there for big events.

I suffer from a chronic illness that will likely end my life sooner than normal. My one request of God is that I live long enough to walk my little girl down the aisle. If I'm granted this wish I'll go without complaint when he calls me home. No girl should have to get married without her Daddy there.

This was so incredibly beautiful! I lost my dad 10 years ago, unexpectedly, when I was 22. Randomly, 2 weeks before he passed, we were at a wedding and I for some reason BAWLED during the Father-Daughter dance (I'm not usually overly emotional). He looked at me in the eyes and said, "Don't worry, baby girl. I'll be there for your special day." I am getting married this November and the hardest part is imagining the day without him. I was in tears watching this video. I lost my Dad 12 years ago...I won't be having a Father/daughter dance either at my wedding....I would probably be a mess...bawling my eyes out. This bride is so fortunate to have brothers, father-in-law, grandfather, that love her very much. The brother who sang the song " Butterfly Kisses " is such a great brother....he is Awesome! What great love this family has for each other. I'm sure her Dad's spirit was there with her on her wedding day. So very touching...

I still have my daddy, but my mommy died almost 10 years ago. I still cry every time I watch movies with mommies in it. Its hard but I'm still glad at least one of my parent's still alive even if I am not close to him. So this touch me, for many reasons. A lost parent feeling .
I've lost both of my parents..Dad in 2000, mom last year. I don't know your situation but I hear the ache in your voice and life is so short.. if it's possible, spend time with your dad while you have him here. I say this as one who has lost her dad and I have no regrets - my last words to him were "I love you." My sister didn't speak to him, and she regrets it now..no way to go through life with heart aching. Whatever you do, be blessed. I miss my mom more than words. I KNOW how your heart feels! We adore dad, but our moms, there is no words when we lose her. Be blessed always!
I never said goodbye to my mom, her last words were *no* when she died but she didn't make sense for a week. I do spend some time with him. I'm spending time with him next Wednesday. Taking me grocery shopping. But thank you and sorry to hear about your parents. Do you have fb?

i am exactly in the same situation but only my mum died 2 years ago so still very fresh. i feel very choked watching this but just looking at the positives in life even though my mum was only 43 when she died of cancer.

Couldn't stop crying, because watching this beautiful "Butterfly kisses video" was so heart warming and heart breaking because I miss my step-father Fred McCrae (Biff) so much. I loved my father (James) also; but it was not until Biff came into my mothers life that I was treated with so much love and care. There was finally peace, love and happiness in our home.

I lost my Dad 2 years ago and the thought of him not there on my Wedding day breaks my heart. The way this film is shot,with many quick cuts to different angles, almost makes me think it was performed as if it were a movie... looks too professional and perfect.
I am really surprised no else said this. 10 seconds into the video, that was my first thought...that this is not real. It looks and feels like a film recorded to appear real. The overall perfection and professionalism, the different angles and quick cuts, the panning. It just does not feel genuine.

Andrea Hoehne Stocking is a real person who lost her father and this is an excerpt from her wedding video. She is happily married to Luke with a beautiful baby girl Natalie. This song (Butterfly kisses) was played at her older sister's father-daughter dance when their father was alive. Which is why her brother sang this very song for Andrea to make her feel her dad around,

My parents got divorced a few years ago and my father turned emotionally and mentally abusive. We don't have any contact now. Every time I am at a wedding I choke up at the daddy-daughter dance because I won't have that. This hit home. I am not a crier but this made me sob.

I had both my dad's portrait and his trumpet on display all day. He WAS there.... just not physically. This beautiful bride surely felt the same way!
