ive finished watching this drama and what i enjoyed the most is every scene of this two couple.
Me too. They were amazing together. I think Lingyi had the greatest character development ever. It was such a great story.
When they hugged each other and their eyes closed, you could see the utter contentment and simple, sheer joy of being with one another. It was like finally coming home, just the quiet moments between husband and wife. Beautifully done.
Even Dongqing and General Fu are cute together..💙
The general and Shiyi's maid are shipping the couple hard. I'm so glad she has loyal people around her. When Lingyi hugged his wife, there is a look of such contentment on both of their faces, it's like he can finally start living his life as he no longer has to deal with a plotting, scheming wife like Yuanniang was.
When Wallace act it's seams the love affection is sooo real I fell in love with him

They had a rocky start but I am glad to see them finally happy. Lingyi is a changed man indeed...lol When he was with his late wife he stayed out for long periods of time without returning how to that den of vipers but with Shiyi by his side things have changed. He is now rushing home to be by Shiyi's side. It's good to see her longing for her husband especially since she kept him at arms length for so long. They are perfect for each other.

Whenever he returned home he would go see his mother first before he assembled the rest of his family. This time he went straight to Shiyi. My man is finally happy/it's written all over his face.

The marquis ride horses very well. Some dramas show actors riding fake horses or use other actors to ride them. But this one show him riding horse slow and fast.
He's done a few period dramas. I'm sure that has helped with his performance. I agree he does a great job riding. It looks natural. I wonder if he rides horses in his everyday life.
@@shontelagrone8713 maybe he went for training on horse riding. Some actors do that so that their performance more realistic and natural.
@@aileenlim6886 it could be. I've tried to follow his career to see if he has any upcoming period dramas but everything I pull up is written in a different language...lol I've watch a few of his modern drama but I think that I prefer him better in historical dramas.
