I love the conversation between Shiyi/Mr. Ou. He's really a supportive friend to her. Lingyi listening in on their conversation is giving him insight into Shiyi's dreams. I love the honesty between these two men who love the same woman. Even though Lingyi is upset with Shiyi at the moment his love for her is apparent. I really respect Lingyi for not forcing Shiyi to live the life he wants her too. He's a very supportive husband. She was extremely lucky to marry him.
General Fu is so cute. He's such a gentleman. Dongqing really lucked out with him. They make a cute couple.

I think the moment between Ou Yan Xing and Shi Yi holds weight because Ou Yan Xing is living the life that Shi Yi wanted if she had succeeded in running away from her marriage. Both of them are after all illegitimate children of prominent families. Like Shi Yi, Yan Xing never competed with his older sibling for anything, he even changed his name to distance himself from his paternal family and both often only started "interfering" in family business when it became personal. Basically, he's managed to lead a successful life, free from family burdens. So, when Yan Xing is telling Shi Yi what a shame it would be for the people not to see her embroidery, it's like her former self is talking to her.

I saw another clip from further on in the series, regarding the maid and the General... what happened between them after she distanced herself from him to protect Her Ladyship? I hope they sorted out that misunderstanding but I can't find a clip past that point. *Please spoil me in the comments!*
