Logitech has been increasing prices of their mice like crazy the past 2 years. Some mice which were like $60 at launch are now sold for $140.

@7:25 : In regards to the puck, as a previous commenter mentioned; there's a polar pattern that the magnets actually prefer. Just flip the puck around until the magnets have that 'strong pull', and that should greatly reduce the movement of the puck when playing.
For my copy, I have not noticed any sort of catching or movement on the underside of my superlight. I play on an aquacontrol+ and Artisan Zero.
Or take off the puck and make the mouse even lighter

Banger of a vid, BT! Picked this mouse up from Best Buy and I agree with everything in this vid. I think I'm going to take it apart, reduce the weight more, swap the switches (I think the clicks feel a little dull), and give it a glossy finish.
The LED indicator works, it lights up when switching sensitivity profiles.

i dont really feel like the price is a problem as most people will be using it until a new version comes out in 2 to 3 years where as other people will buy a few different mice in that time space
I mean... it loses quite a lot of features compared to the OG g pro, but still is priced $25 higher which, imo, is inappropriate.
Logitech will re-release it with a usb-c and fanboys would buy it in an instant
@@okay4902 what does is lose? lol it loses a dpi button rgb and left handed buttons lol thats is in no way shape or form a make or break for this mouse lol the feat are better the grip is better the clicks are better the scroll wheel is better and its all around a great mouse its expensive because of the switches the switches alone cost around 70-90 depending on where you get them so your getting what you paid for infact your getting more than what u paid for

I don't think they don't even tried, I think that by looking at the inside of the mouse we can see that they really refine the original componets, reducing the weight as much as possible, without compromising the shape, logitech don't just remove the extra features.

@@mordetx1 Yeah, but I think it should be totally perfect for someone, who does not have both and uses some fucking mammoth shit like Bloody v7 like myself, when I fell into competitive shooters recently, I've found out that it feels like a fucking brick sometimes. Like, metal gliders are sick and stuff, but being 150 grams+ is like I'm fucking doing some one-handed pull-ups when I try to really perform with my aim for a noticeable amount of time.

What changes would you have suggested? They improved the weight a lot (without honeycomb), they updated the sensor, they updated feet, fixed double clicking. Sure they could have added usb c, but what else? Maybe the shape, but personally i thought the g pro wireless shape was a strong point. Neutral shape = no complaints.

Mine in white comes this weekend. The g pro wireless was my most used mouse besides the g305 so I can't wait to have this
0:15 this blew my mind lol how did u do it. I assume just a green screen or rotoscoping but it looks so much better than when I've tried. Maybe u just had it on a tv with the background but either way great job. Oh and the review was great to lol.

Just a heads up BT the bottom plate with the PTFE piece on it has to go on turned the correct way and then it wont do that annoying wobble. the magnets have to align correctly and one of the ways it doesn't work and if you rotate the opposite way it will work fine. I use it and never have any wobbling issues during gameplay whatsoever but the first time I put it on it was not aligned correctly. Anyhow this is my main and fav mouse of all time and I've tested hundreds of mice and been playing FPS games mostly since 95 so wish we had something like this a lot sooner than 2021 haha. great videos man I dig them.

intro was insane
Got mine on 22 December 2020.. priced only $140 equivalent in my country... it's just amazing how they can cut the weight from the og and reach that wight on a wireless mice without the need of holes and still retaining that size, shape, and structural strength (i pressed it pretty hard and no creeking whatsoever) also it's very well balanced not front or back heavy
don't mind the micro B.. cus i can interchange cable from my previous logitech mouse... the one and only problem for me if I try to be picky here is the side buttons.. are very mushy for my taste... but it's still not that apparent in the heat of the game
Also about the led indicator.. it turns static green for a few sec after the mouse turned on or awaken from sleep mode... also turns to yellow, white, orange, magenta, or purple when u switching between 5 dpi level
And u can still switching dpi by the mouse alone but u need to make a button to be assigned as dpi cycle/up/down in one of the onboard profile beforehand with g hub
And i think it's not being haunted by that double click problems like the GPW manufactured before the shroud edition GPW cus now the GPW also this GPW X SL use omron 20 mil instead of the 50 mil which notorious for easily double click

Reviewers should really consider trying magnetic charging on wireless mice. I used it in my GPW, and it made charging so convenient. Just clip the magnetic cable on the table, and you just snap in the mouse to the magnet to connect and snap out the mouse to take it out. With this, doesn't matter if it's Micro USB or Type C, as you're going to plug the magnetic tip anyway.
I remember first seeing this done to the G703 back in early 2018, and now even Piranha makes his custom mice with them as the default. (With Piranha's tho, you can't play and charge at the same time).

The light hasn't turned on because you need to turn it on in GHUB; it changes colors depending on what dpi setting you have the mouse on.

There is still a RGB in the "hole" and for tournaments there is a tool that is allowed in tournaments to change profiles called Onboard Memory Manager from Logitech

@BT. There's something wrong with your LED because that power light is supposed to work. They didn't forget to remove the hole lol. The OG GP has 3 holes for the DPI indicators
I have it and it's amazing! Coming from the Gladius 2, this is really a level above. 60 grams is a blast, i just forget about the mouse because it is so light. And the battery is everlasting. I can keep it on all the time and can get a week with moderate to intensive usage (MMO (i hate macro mouses) and FPS).
About the added puck, don't worry about it. I never have had any issues, ever.
The puck actually gives more room to slide on, i love it.
If you really want to stretch the weight of the mouse (down to 59) is to remove the puck and use the mouse without them, it'll be even lighter!
One detail tho... The included rubber stickers are awful, it gives an awful feeling when you touch them, throw them away as soon as possible.
The battery indicator lights up when you begin charging the mouse, maybe yours is defective? And also the DPI stays the same once its set so you don't need the software at lans.
Finally got my hands on one that’ll be coming in a few days. Anyone have any recommendations on alternative grip tape for this mouse? I heard the ones that come with this mouse are sub par. I claw grip as well so maybe any that come with something to go over the butt of the mouse?
I’m gonna hold off for a little while longer. I have a Model O Wireless, and I feel like this being the best out isn’t a super substantial upgrade over the O wireless. We’ll see what Razer does in response.

I wish more people would point out that the "OG" G Pro wireless mouse got a hardware upgrade when the superlight came out so now the "OG" is more like 2.0 with the hero 25 sensor and its still ambidextrous

I don't quite understand why the weight reduction is "half-assed". Logitech strategically removed components that wouldn't affect most consumers, they maintained the rigidity of the shell and endoskeleton, maintained Powerplay, kept the same perfectly centered balance, all while removing 25% of the GPW's weight.
Along with that you're getting better M1/M2 switches, better coating on the shell, better skates, and a solid feeling 60g wireless mouse...I think for an extra $25 over the OG GPW this is a really good price.
This is all just my opinion of course; I don't see much if anything to complain about.

Honestly i wished they would make a small version of the g pro wireless for smaller hands, and allow weight change to the g pro superlight. 60 is too light for me, 80 feels like it drags along my fingers, 70 feels jsut right. otherwise this is a banger, picked it up locally a few weeks ago and is currently my fave

I sold my Pro X SL again because I cannot seem to get used to the shape anymore after playing with smaller mice for the past year, very weird.
I was actually underperforming compared to my MM710 which I'm using again now.. If you main the GPW now though the Pro X SL is basically the same mouse but a bit lighter. But personally I don't think it feels as light as it is, maybe due to it being a fairly big shape still.
Might just be a placebo but my other two mice here, MM710 and Glorious model O- feel way lighter! Ofcourse they're also way smaller. Also I prefer the mousefeet and glide on them.
I was so hyped (as back in the day I had the GPW and back then the shape didn't seem to bother me), but unfortunately the Pro X SL just isn't for me anymore since I tried other lightweight/smaller shaped mice..
