they looking kinda like apple here right? well yeah, they could... but they could honestly price it anywhere they can and people would still buy it, they're just...different.
From someone involved in business, people forget that these things cost money for the companies as well. For them to produce something that is top of the market like the g pro superlight, or even regular g pro, it's very hard to know what these mice cost them to make. If they are only making a 20% profit margin, they likely wouldn't actually make more money by reducing the price. These companies, including companies like Apple, have things affecting their prices that some people don't consider. Problem is it's impossible to know without working at Logitech!

@thetechne As for me owning all the previous wireless mice (G pro, Razer Ultimate, g305) I picked the Logitech G pro X light weight. I don't like the shape of the Glorious Model O. I have the wired copy with an almost non-existent wire feeling already. Why would I purchase something that is the same but wireless? I think if Glorious would have made a wireless more say in the M42 size and without the RGB for weight purposes I probably would have thought about getting the Model O. But nah, I have the G Pro X Super Light ordered and can't wait for it to get here. Good bullet points man. And thanks for putting this out there for everyone. I say if you have the Model O already then don't get the Model O wireless unless you just got to have it in your collection.
Dealing with both companies if you happen to have a issue you will be thankful that you bought the glorious model O outstanding customer service that goes beyond. As for logitech not so much probably the worst .
Are you worried about the double click issue? Or did they go with new switches? Saw something about them changing the switches on latest batches even with g703 and g903?
price alone makes the model o the absolute winner, they're hopefully gonna be able to put pressure on its competition when it comes to the pricing of wireless peripherals. Paying over 150 for something we don't even know if the doubleclick issue is still there or not is pure theft. Also, they stripped most of the features to get the g pro ultralight to that weight, which is fine, but it doesn't make sense when they charge more for less.
Completely different class of mouse. G502 is a **heavy** ergo mouse while these two are esports focused. Playing low dpi on the g502 is near impossible if you've ever used a mouse as light as the gpro or model o
I am not saying that the G502 lightspeed is a better value than the mice on this video, I just thought it would be helpful for someone that is considering to buy a wireless mouse to know that the G502 lightspeed is now 100$ at some retailers because it is normally more expensive
Dude, you're the first mouse reviewer i ever heard talking about weight distribution. I changed my g502 lightspeed for the Basilisk ultimate, and honestly, the lightspeed had a much better weight distribution. The basilisk is awful in the front and overall feels heavier because of that (even tho it's lighter). For me weight distribution is a deciding factor. Now i'm trying the deathadder v2 pro. Btw, do you have any wireless mice suggestions for palm grip and big hands? Also, if you're interested in my previous comparison, other points on favor of logitech were overall build quality, click feeling, and the fact that i didn't need a firmware update to get the wired like feeling (i did with the razer). I just changed the g502 because the buttons were too thin for my fingers and the sniper button (that's removable) bothered me for gripping the mouse. But man... So different in quality.
@@utubeb14 I paid $150 for RVU. Good mouse, but I like the shape of the Gpro superlight better. Can't justify dropping another $150 on a mouse. I hope the glorious comes up with a design with more height in the back of the mouse.
i have both mice and same as techne i boxed my model o, the shape of the super light fits my hands more pefectly and battery last much longer, i used it for a week without charging and still has 26% battery left, and i use it daily for 6-10 hrs, also the super light changed my view on having rgb on a mouse, sure it looks so cool having rgb but i can only appreciate it when im not using it, the cable that came with the superlight is so stiff, plastic stff not advisable for fps game use, it really is just for charging.
wtf???? RGB gives much more of an accuracy advantage than 50% some scientists from Harvard said the accuracy increases by over 200%, meaning model O is better (for Fortnite especially)... BTW I ordered the G Pro X a couple days ago so ill keep you updated on my thoughts
I'm picking up the G Pro, it will actually be here today, I'm not a Fan of the honey comb or ANY holes in my mice period, and going from a G Pro Wired to this G Pro Superlight, seems to be my best bet, the shape and balance was the deciding factor, if it was not that it would have been the holes.
I agree with your first comment. Compare that to the Viper Ultimate too. I decided not to try the Viper because many complained about left button problems, so reading the reviews I avoided.
@@dilip_1997 I have used both. Glorious Core, their new software, is miles ahead of logitech. If I want to change something on the model o I just go into software and do it while logitech hides shit in tons of different menus, has to be running in the background for certain features to work, etc
Glorious products are solid but the QC issues are horrible. If you’re willing to keep returning mouses until you get a good one, then go ahead. I’ve had two send back my regular Model O twice.

I have neither but it seems from this video that the super light is not actually worth 60 dollars more so I would say if you take price into factor th model o wireless is better
As someone with ADHD and really particular about textures, I'm so happy to have an alternative to the honeycomb design. Honeycomb has really been taking over the mice scene and I can see how they serve both cosmetic and mechanical advantages. But it's still really nice to see a competitive mice without it. Definitely will be picking up the Logitech when it comes out!
Personally I will go with the GPro SL. Reason being is it's a more mature and subtle look as opposed to the holey shell of the Model 0. Also, the price justifies the R&D that was put in building the GP SL, it's a lightweight mice that again has no holes and is lighter than the Glorious mouse.
You literally have the exact comparisons that I'm looking for, idk how you do it lol. I was debating between these 2 specific mice and here you are with a comparison video for the 2
If you have fat thumbs the model O will have frequent accidental clicks to the side buttons causing you to grip the mouse in a way that does not feel as good and affects control.
I think many will be considering the Viper Ultimate with these, I would easily take either of these two mice over the VPU.

i love this channel, it's like having my dad teach me stuff about tech, very soothing

Actually model o wireless is better for double click than wired version
Dude you are reading my mind lol I was looking to get a mouse and was either going to get the g pro or the model o
Thank you sooooo much
I like the O- and want a slightly bigger wireless mouse so I think Model O wireless makes sense for me.
When he said that the g pro is like a Tesla he has already convinced me
Dealing with both companies if you happen to have a issue you will be thankful that you bought the glorious model O outstanding customer service that goes beyond. As for logitech not so much probably the worst .
I still prefer the GPW super light over the model O, I just love the clean look, the build quality and everything about it. Keep it up man!
I agree
Also agree, gpw is clean
Are you worried about the double click issue? Or did they go with new switches? Saw something about them changing the switches on latest batches even with g703 and g903?
@@mannyfresh7065 new switch, they use 20m omron now
RL28 so just the super light or even the G703? g703 is on sale for $60
Found your channel because of your review on the Sennheiser PC38x which I wanted to get. Stayed because I love how in-depth your reviews are.
thank you so much for watching
Got my g pro wireless still, the only reason id consider upgrading is to get a white peripheral setup lol.
I've own the a g pro for 2 years now and it's great. If money isn't a issues get the g pro wireless. If you are on a budget get the model 0.
Hey dad! I love the review!
I really can't wait for the Model D wireless though :D
Is there a rumored release date?
@@ethansladek1797 Nothing yet, but I will keep checking Glorious if they leaked something. Pretty sure it's coming though!
YeysBaws! Good because I don’t want to buy a model O wireless and then the model D wireless comes out
price alone makes the model o the absolute winner, they're hopefully gonna be able to put pressure on its competition when it comes to the pricing of wireless peripherals. Paying over 150 for something we don't even know if the doubleclick issue is still there or not is pure theft.
Also, they stripped most of the features to get the g pro ultralight to that weight, which is fine, but it doesn't make sense when they charge more for less.
The MOW clicks sound so.. clicky, damn !
Now you can find the G502 lightspeed at 100$ at Best Buy, I think it is one of the best values
But man... So different in quality.
i think model D and I good for palm grip
thanks for helping me make my decision for what my next car would be
"this is like a toyota, and this is like a lexus" me who lives in australia oh yeh model o wireless wins :D
Yeah half the price
Naw, GPSL all day 😉
@@utubeb14 I paid $150 for RVU. Good mouse, but I like the shape of the Gpro superlight better. Can't justify dropping another $150 on a mouse. I hope the glorious comes up with a design with more height in the back of the mouse.
Rocket Jump Ninja is the best mouse resource on the net.
i have both mice and same as techne i boxed my model o, the shape of the super light fits my hands more pefectly and battery last much longer, i used it for a week without charging and still has 26% battery left, and i use it daily for 6-10 hrs, also the super light changed my view on having rgb on a mouse, sure it looks so cool having rgb but i can only appreciate it when im not using it, the cable that came with the superlight is so stiff, plastic stff not advisable for fps game use, it really is just for charging.
no rgb? - 50% accuracy. Get the model O
Super bias towards the G-Pro but good review
He literally said he would pick that mouse tf

I agree with your first comment. Compare that to the Viper Ultimate too. I decided not to try the Viper because many complained about left button problems, so reading the reviews I avoided.
Model O Wirless better value at the end of the day! Nice vid gj
I agree a better value yes, but not the better mouse
@@TheTechne if you prefer the FK shape it may very well be the better mouse for many people out there. Like you said in the video, personal preference
@Alive better software really ?
@@dilip_1997 I have used both. Glorious Core, their new software, is miles ahead of logitech. If I want to change something on the model o I just go into software and do it while logitech hides shit in tons of different menus, has to be running in the background for certain features to work, etc
@@russiank9802 Not really. My G703 runs on device mode 100% of the time, I entered the G Hub only once to turn off the RGB.
Love your video as always. Another great video and it is just what I have been looking for. Thanks so much!
Does the g pro still have the double clicking issues, because I am debating if I want to spend the extra money and get the g pro
my original pro never had double click
Ok thank u
@@relate835 they changed the switch
Glorious products are solid but the QC issues are horrible. If you’re willing to keep returning mouses until you get a good one, then go ahead. I’ve had two send back my regular Model O twice.
Waiting for the model D wirreless
Hey techne what is the better mouse? the endgame xm1 or the gwolves hati and for headsets whats better the arctis 1 or the cooler master mh 630 can u pls reply?
I prefer the hate shape, but would say the xm1 is the better mouse, as for headsets I would go 630
@@TheTechne thanks for replying😊 ur so underrated!
The best "in human side experience" peripheral/tech reviewer. Thank you always Techne! Love from the Philippines!
I always believe The Techne on mice reviews because he is just so Stinkin' honest! No matter what grip the mouse is made for, if it's good it's good!
thank you for this video techne you’re actually the best man !
thank you for the kind words and support
Highly anticipated video!!! Thank You for making it. I hope your finger You cut previously is ok now 😊
My money goes to Glorious, I'll support them always. I love their products.
They make good mouse for a cheap price and have good customer service
Oficially, no one can deny this.
this video is a life saver because I was debating which one I should get and this helped a lot!
All i know is that
1. I dont have enough money in my wallet
2. The logitech is 150 dollars..... and the model o wireless is 80 sooooo im pretty sure the broke gang know what to get.....the model d "wired super deluxe mega pro edition" for only 49.99"
Hey fellow broke gang member, how about g304/g305? They can be pretty affordable when on sale. I bought mine around $35.
@@babyrage1763 The shape is... Not for me sorry, just in my opinion.
How about the new hyperx mouse for 50$
Hey there brither i could sugggest the viper mini or Ig your a palm gripper the DA essential realllly good !
I can't stand the holes or the gaudy design. The Superlight is super clean and it performs a little better.
!
Having ADHD has absolutely nothing to do with liking or disliking specific textures.
What are you on about?
@@nexxusty This 🤣👁️
Personally I will go with the GPro SL. Reason being is it's a more mature and subtle look as opposed to the holey shell of the Model 0. Also, the price justifies the R&D that was put in building the GP SL, it's a lightweight mice that again has no holes and is lighter than the Glorious mouse.
model O*
idk y people say model 0
Cries in aerox 3...mistakes were made
LOL u a Brandon Taylor watcher too?
You literally have the exact comparisons that I'm looking for, idk how you do it lol. I was debating between these 2 specific mice and here you are with a comparison video for the 2
@Ryan M. I went with the Glorious Model O Wireless, but I honestly 2ill end up buying the super light as well, later down the line though
@Ryan M. oh nice, have you received it already? If so, what're you thoughts on it so far
@Ryan M. thank you! I'd appreciate that
@Ryan M. And do you like it?
going with the logitech. imagine spilling water on the omega, also i like the simpler design. "gamer" designs look tacky imo
i love my regular pro logitech, so i cant wait for this one!
If you have fat thumbs the model O will have frequent accidental clicks to the side buttons causing you to grip the mouse in a way that does not feel as good and affects control.
Am i the only one who ordered the wired model o but still watched this? Great review overall, got me more known to the model o, still ordering it.
