God I could watch Sol and Ky interact for ages
They just have such a good dynamic and feel just like old friends who banter and discuss like proper adults
They're closer than that now they're inlaws
... I still love the scene where Ky finally realize what being Dizzy's Husband actually means to his relationship with Sol ... I nearly dropped from my Chair laughing.

Those natural, organic moments where characters have an honest talk is really something else.

You rarely get moments like these with fighting game characters where they just talk to each other as if they were normal everyday people.
It really was a great idea to just make the story mode nothing but cutscenes, so the characters don't have to come up with excuses to have fights every few minutes and they can actually interact naturally like this.
@@Terithian Guilty Gear is truly something else. Aside from being a badass fighting game with badass music, it's a story Daisuke wanted to tell since its conception. The story for it goes beyond the average fighting game to be something special.
@@Terithian I mean I wouldn't call it a great idea, I think they just couldn't come up with a way to merge the story and the gameplay and were like "eh fuck it, it's an anime now"

Why is the sub different from what the characters say?, im no japanese expert but when slayer leaves what bedman says is completely different from the sub
Localization team doing localizarion things
It seems like they were going for tone translation(translating the approximate meaning in the right tone instead of just translating the lines) which is generally better for translation, even if it sounds odd when certain words are completely different.
